GENERAL CONDITIONS 1- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered separately from it. 2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Wtatil reserves the right to cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation notice is communicated to the guest. The full amount of the tour fee is refunded to the guest. Refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour; includes the internal transit flight purchased through Wtatil, viza service, travel health insurance if used for visa application on behalf of the guest, are non-refundable once used. If visa application was not made, visa and travel health insurance are also canceled and the fee is refunded. If the guest acquires the internal connection flight from a provider other than Wtatil, in case the tour is canceled by Wtatil, no refund can be claimed from Wtatil. Guests accept the potential material and moral losses resulting from the tour's cancellation in advance and Wtatil cannot be held responsible. 3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Wtatil has the goodwill to not cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guiding service will only cover the international outbound and inbound transfer. Cancellation and Changes 4- Guests can cancel without penalty by notifying Wtatil in writing at least 30 days before the departure date. Except for airline tickets paid or committed by Wtatil, other costs are eligible for cancellation without penalty. If the cancellation request is made less than 31 days before the departure, a penalty of 50% of the remaining tour fee after deducting the airline ticket cost applies for cancellations within 15 days or less of the start date, the full tour fee must be paid as a penalty. When canceling, the conditions for refund of additional services such as internal connection flights, visa services, travel health insurance may vary depending on the notice period; prior inquiry about refunds is recommended. Wtatil cannot guarantee refunds on additional services. Guiding Services and Additional Tours 5- The days and hours of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and sites and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany guests during the tours. 6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are designed to introduce the cities and last a maximum of 2-3 hours, consisting of bus narration without museum or archaeological site entry. These tours, including other tours listed in the program, may be affected by local authorities not permitting entry or closure of roads due to events or bad weather; Wtatil is not responsible for these changes. Some tours may be conducted via public transportation or on foot where roads or vehicle access are restricted. 7- Our guide may make changes to the city tour and/or additional tour dates based on the content, the number of participants, and the closed status of museums and historic sites. This also applies to any changes in flight times. 8- When participating in tours via speed boats, guests should avoid heavy meals and excessive water intake just before boarding. Those with stomach, waist, or neck issues and pregnant guests should inform their guides about their conditions. 9- Refunds are not applicable if guests choose not to participate in services or meals included in the price. Flights Information 10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline. In possible disputes, Turkish laws as well as the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention will be applied. 11- Delays or changes in flight schedules may occur in scheduled or charter flights. Wtatil is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Guests accept the risk of flight schedule changes or cancellations when purchasing the tour. 12- Children aged 0-2 pay only the airport tax. 13- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline. 14- Participants in air tours must personally perform check-in and boarding procedures at the airport, either at the airline counters or online, before the flight. 15- Last-minute delays or gate changes are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information screens. Guests should monitor these updates themselves. 16- Guests who do not arrive at the specified time, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who check in and board but do not board the plane, cannot participate in the flight. Wtatil is not responsible for these situations. Guests who miss their flights are responsible for acquiring new round-trip tickets and covering any additional transfer costs. 17- The general luggage weight limit for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg, although this may vary by airline and destination country. Domestic flights within the destination country may have a limit of 15 kg. Excess luggage fees are determined by the airline and are not the responsibility of Wtatil. 18- Guests wishing to upgrade their tickets using miles (to business or first class) can do so after ticket issuance, subject to airline availability. Miles are not guaranteed for every flight. Check if the program tickets are eligible for upgrade. 19- Some airlines may charge extra for onboard meals and online check-in services. Other Matters 20- Wtatil is not responsible for any changes or cancellations made directly with the hotel by guests. In such cases, the hotel's cancellation conditions will apply. 21- If hotel names are not specified in the program and only category information is provided, or options are offered for the same destination, guests will be notified by Wtatil at least 48 hours before departure. 22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, or sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther from the specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, guests will be informed by Wtatil at least 15 days before departure. 23- During the tour reservation process, guests must correctly enter/passport name, birth date, and passport number into the system. Tickets are issued based on this information. Errors may result in cancellations or additional costs if tickets need to be changed or reissued. 24- To use your mobile phone abroad, check with your provider before leaving Turkey whether your phone is unlocked for international use. 25- Hotel check-in time is usually from 15:00, and check-out time is until 12:00. 26- Wtatil will communicate guest requests regarding rooms (high floor, proximity to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. Preference fulfillment depends on availability at check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil. 27- Breakfast in hotels typically differs from the traditional Turkish rich breakfast and is mostly continental, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, served in a designated area for groups. 28- In some cases, double rooms may have a single large bed instead of two separate beds. Many European hotels offer rooms with joinable beds. 29- Child and extra bed policies vary by hotel and room type. 30- All extra beds and cribs are provided upon request, subject to availability, and require hotel approval. 31- The capacity for additional beds or cribs in the room is one maximum. 32- In three-person rooms, an extra bed is smaller than standard beds. These rooms consist of one large bed plus one extra bed, which may be foldable or a coach bed. Guests agree to the potential for limited space and bed types when booking as a three-person or family room. 33- If the number of children and their ages are incorrectly declared during reservation, hotels may charge extra fees. Responsibility for incorrect declarations lies with the guest. Hotels may request IDs for age verification. 34- In reservations with 2 adults and 1 child, an extra bed for the child may not be available. Child rates are only valid when the child stays with two adults. Child discounts only apply to children who fall within the specified age group and are the only child with two adults. 35- Exchange rate fluctuations during the day are reflected in TL prices. Current rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests or services (mini bar, iron, etc.) during stay are extra and paid directly to the hotel, not included in purchase price. 36- Some countries impose city, tourism, or local taxes and fees, which are charged at entry or exit by the hotel from the guest. 37- The mileage information in itineraries is map-based; travel times may increase due to traffic, weather, geography, road works, or other conditions. 38- Wtatil may change the order of cities and main airlines without altering the overall program content if deemed necessary or unavoidable. 39- Personal belongings, luggage, passports/IDs of participants are their own responsibility. Wtatil is not liable for lost, forgotten, or stolen items. Costs for locating or returning lost items are borne by the owner. 40- Participants must carry their travel health insurance policies, medications, and reports if applicable. 41- Extra expenses may be charged at hotel check-in via official IDs/passports and credit card or cash deposit. Refunds of deposits upon check-out are between the hotel and guest; Wtatil has no involvement. Visa and Passport 42- Citizens of Turkey do not require a visa. 43- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end of travel date. 44- At customs or border crossings, a minimum of 2 blank pages in the passport is required for entry and exit stamps. 45- Exemption from visa for these countries does not guarantee entry or exit; border control has the authority to refuse entry or exit. Wtatil is not responsible for such situations; the responsibility lies with the traveler. 46- Non-Turkish citizens or those holding dual citizenship who will travel using another country’s passport must consult relevant embassies about visa procedures; Wtatil is not responsible for any consequences. 47- Passports that are torn, damaged, soaked, or otherwise compromised must be renewed to avoid issues at border crossings; responsibility lies with the passenger. 48- Minors traveling alone or with only one parent should be prepared for possible requests for written consent from the absent parent at border crossings. Minors and accompanying parents are advised to be attentive to this requirement.
