Day 1 İstanbul – Sevilla – Granada

Meeting at Istanbul Airport, in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the international departures terminal, 3 hours before the flight. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, departure to Sevilla on Turkish Airlines flight TK1297 at 06:55. Upon arrival at 10:45 local time, transfer to Granada with our waiting vehicle. Upon arrival, Granada is a city full of history and culture, located in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain’s leading tourist destinations and welcomes millions of visitors every year. During our city tour here, Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (exterior), Granada’s first university Madraza, the Silk Bazaar, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai will be among the places to be seen. After our tour, our guests who wish may join the extra Great Alhambra Palace Tour. (80 Euro) (There is a daily visitor limit at Alhambra Palace, and depending on availability, our palace visit may also be carried out without the harem area. It is important that you inform your agency of your participation in this tour during reservation.) One of Granada’s greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace is one of the most striking and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. One of the most visited historical sites in Spain, Alhambra is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is renowned worldwide. This famous monument was begun in the 13th century on the plateau atop Sabika Hill overlooking Granada, as a fortress and palace, and construction continued until the 15th century. Due to the red color it takes from the red soil used in its construction, it was named Alhambra, meaning “red.” After the tour, transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join our extra Great Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter) tour. (60 Euro) Albaicin is a historic and fascinating neighborhood of Granada. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects the history of Granada. After the tour here, we will watch a Gypsy show and their lifestyle in hand-made caves accompanied by a drink. After the tour, return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 2 Granada – Alicante – Valencia

After breakfast at the hotel, we set out towards Valencia. Along the way, guests who wish may join the extra Great City of Alicante Tour. (40 Euro) Alicante is a historic and tourist city located on the Mediterranean coast in southeastern Spain. An important settlement since ancient times, the city was first founded by the Iberians, then conquered by the Carthaginians and Romans. The region, known as “Lucentum” during the Roman period, became strategically important throughout the Middle Ages. In the 9th century, Alicante came under Arab rule and experienced significant cultural and economic development, with city walls and irrigation systems constructed. Conquered by the Castilians in the 13th century, the city passed into Christian rule. Today, Alicante’s most prominent historical symbol is Santa Bárbara Castle, built by the Arabs in the 9th century and later expanded by the Christians. The Old Town district (El Barrio), surrounded by historical buildings, reflects traces of the past with its narrow streets, churches, and traditional houses. In addition to all this historical texture, Alicante attracts thousands of tourists each year with its sunny climate, Golden Sand Beach (Playa del Postiguet), delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and colorful festivals. After the tour, departure to Valencia. Valencia is a historic and modern city on Spain’s east coast, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. As Spain’s third-largest city, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. Upon arrival, we will begin our city tour and see the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Museum of Arts and Sciences, the historic market Mercado Central, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the tour, transfer to our hotel, room check-in, and free time. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 3 Valencia – Barcelona

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Barcelona. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Barcelona is a world-renowned city, the second largest in Spain and the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region. Bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its magnificent architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudi. During our city tour in this beautiful city, the places to be seen include La Sagrada Familia Church, Christopher Columbus Monument, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Andalusian Arena, and the Olympic Port. After the tour, guests who wish may join the extra Great Poble Espanyol & Montjuic Hill tour. (30 Euro) We begin our tour by visiting Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), built for the 1929 World Fair and now a popular stop for visitors to Barcelona, consisting of 117 buildings, streets, and squares. Here we will see sample structures from all regions of Spain, walk through streets reflecting the architecture of different parts of Spain, visit fascinating artisan workshops, and take a short journey through the whole of Spain. Poble Espanyol is also home to artisans working in ceramics, glass, leather, jewelry, and other crafts. Then we head up Montjuic Hill, which offers much more than a panoramic view of Barcelona. This area, where history, culture, and nature come together, has undergone a transformation by hosting major events such as the 1992 Olympic Games. After our photo stop, transfer to our hotel. Day 4 Barcelona

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra Great Pearls of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) tour. (70 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Girona. Located in the northeast of Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to Figueras. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something in his birthplace and exhibit his works. Today, this museum has the largest Dali collection, and since every part of it was designed by Dali, it is regarded as Dali’s greatest work. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. After the tour, we return to Barcelona. Guests who wish may join the extra Gaudi’s Magnificent Work (Park Guell) & Gothic Quarter tour. (50 Euro) We begin with Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Known as a fairy-tale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairways and imaginative pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work of Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historical fabric with its narrow, labyrinth-like streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the neighborhood are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King Square), and La Rambla. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Day 5 Barcelona – Zaragoza- Madrid

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Madrid. Along the way, guests who wish may join the extra Great Zaragoza Tour. (30 Euro) Zaragoza is a historic and culturally rich city located on the banks of the Ebro River in northeastern Spain. The capital of the Aragon Autonomous Region, Zaragoza stands out with its deep-rooted history. The city’s past dates back to Roman times; in ancient Rome it was known as “Caesaraugusta,” a name derived from Emperor Augustus. Roman-era remains such as the theater, walls, and thermal baths can still be seen today. Zaragoza was conquered by Muslims in the 8th century and remained under the influence of Islamic culture for about 400 years. The Aljaferia Palace from this period is one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in Spain. The city was conquered by Christians in 1118 and became an important center of the Kingdom of Aragon. One of Zaragoza’s most famous buildings is the Basilica del Pilar, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture. This large cathedral is considered by Christians to be the site of one of the first apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Spain and is an important stop for pilgrims. After the tour, departure to Madrid. Day 6 Madrid – Toledo – Sevilla – Ecija

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to the city of Sevilla in the province of Sevilla. Along the way, guests who wish may join the extra Great Toledo Tour. (70 Euro) Toledo, located about 70 kilometers from Madrid, is a historic city under UNESCO protection that has hosted the different cultures of the Iberian Peninsula and bears traces of Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. It is known for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage. During our tour in this open-air museum city, we will see the historic narrow streets, Toledo Cathedral—the oldest cathedral in Spain—(exterior), churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and many more wonders. After the tour, departure to Sevilla. Upon arrival, our Sevilla city tour begins. Sevilla is a city in Spain’s Andalusia region, famous for its historical and cultural richness. During our city tour along the Guadalquivir River, we will first see Maria Luisa Park, where Plaza de Espana is located, and Plaza America; the Sevilla Cathedral (exterior), the world’s third largest cathedral, which also houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus; the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque on which the cathedral was built and a legacy of the Umayyad State of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior), the palace of the Castilian kings. Then, passing through the Hint Arşivleri, where records of all sea voyages to the American continent from the Age of Discovery until the 19th century were kept, we will reach the old narrow streets of Santa Cruz, known as “old” Sevilla. At the end of our walk, after seeing Torre del Oro, also known as the Golden Tower, which was once the central campus of Sevilla University, formerly a tobacco factory and now a maritime museum, transfer to our hotel in Ecija. Day 7 Ecija – Cordoba – Mijas – Malaga – Ecija

After breakfast at the hotel, our Ecija city tour begins. It is a historic city in southern Spain, located in the Andalusia region and belonging to the province of Sevilla. Known as the “Peacock of Andalusia” or the “City of Towers,” Écija is famous for its rich Baroque architecture and magnificent historical buildings. In Roman times, the city was known as “Astigi” and was one of the important centers of the Hispania Ulterior province. The city also became an important cultural and economic center during the period of the Umayyads of Andalusia. Today, while walking through the streets of Écija, you can feel a historical atmosphere filled with elegant Baroque-era palaces, churches, and tall bell towers. Especially the 18th-century churches of Santa María and San Juan are among the finest examples of Baroque art. With its history, art, and traditional Andalusian architecture, Écija is like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered for travelers interested in history and culture. As you wander through its narrow streets, it is possible to find traces of both Roman and Islamic periods. After the tour, guests who wish may join the extra Great Cities (Cordoba & Mijas & Malaga) tour. (140 Euro) Cordoba is a historic city in Spain’s Andalusia region. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. After a 1.5-hour journey, we arrive in Cordoba, where the Guadalquivir River will greet us first. We will cross the historic Roman bridge and enter the city through the Roman gate. The city’s most magnificent structure, one of the largest mosques in the world, the Grand Mosque of Córdoba, rising on 850 columns, will be visited, and with our guide’s explanations we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent work. After our tour in the Mosque of Córdoba, we continue on foot and see the clean old streets, the old inn reflecting all the elegance of Andalusian architecture, and the houses of Cordoba. After this tour, our second stop is Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain town located in the province of Málaga in the Andalusia region of southern Spain, especially famous for its whitewashed houses. Close to the Costa del Sol coast, Mijas stands out with both its sea views and historical texture. Mijas Pueblo, the historic part of the town, offers a postcard-like view with its narrow streets, balconies adorned with flowers, and whitewashed houses typical of Andalusian architecture. Although the town’s origins date back to Ancient Rome and even the Phoenicians, its current texture was largely shaped during the Muslim period of Andalusia. One of the most notable points in Mijas is the small bullring built on the hilltop and the remains of Mijas Castle. After the tour, our final stop is Malaga. Day 8 Ecija – Sevilla- Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1298 at 11:55. Arrival at 18:25 local time and end of our tour.
