1st Day İstanbul – Düsseldorf – Amsterdam

Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Düsseldorf at 08:00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1523. Upon arrival at 09:20 local time, we will begin our city tour of Düsseldorf, one of Germany’s most important cultural, artistic, and industrial cities, with the revolving restaurant at Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath, where some of Germany’s most important thinkers were educated, the shopping street Königsallee, and the lush green areas of Hofgarten among the places to be seen. After the tour, we depart for Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, which borders Germany to the east and Belgium to the south, the city tour will include Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Flower Market. 2nd Day Amsterdam – Zaanse Schans – Volendam – Giethoorn – Amsterdam

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Fairy-Tale Villages and Canals tour (Zaanse Schans & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) (110 Euro). Our tour begins with the town of Zaanse Schans. One of the hidden paradises of the Netherlands, Zaanse Schans is a famous Dutch town with old historical windmills still in operation dating back to the 17th century and its untouched nature. With its historical windmills and wooden houses, Zaanse Schans offers beauty unmatched anywhere in the world, making you feel as if you are walking through an open-air museum. Our second stop on the tour is Marken. After visiting this wonderful island, which was once an island but later connected to the mainland by reclaimed land, we head to Volendam. Volendam is a place that immediately captivates visitors with its harbor, characteristic Dutch houses, and people in traditional clothing. In this town, where you can taste delicious seafood and cheeses and buy inexpensive souvenirs, we will spend a pleasant time before our final stop, Giethoorn Hobbit Village. 3rd Day Amsterdam – Brugge – Ghent – Brussels

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Brussels. Along the way, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Cities Brugge & Ghent tour (90 Euro). Our first stop is the magnificent and famous Brugge. Today, Brugge is among the most visited cities in Europe and was placed under UNESCO protection in 1991. With its medieval architecture, canals, narrow streets, bridges, historic buildings, and squares, it has become one of Europe’s gems. After touring this beautiful city, we proceed to Ghent, another city where time seems to stand still. With a history of 1,400 years, Ghent was founded at the confluence of the Scheldt and Lys rivers and was one of the largest and richest cities of the Middle Ages. Known for its medieval monuments and university, we continue to Brussels after our tour of this city. One of the most remarkable stops of the Benelux tours, Brussels stands out with its cosmopolitan structure. In this city, which offers travelers many different opportunities thanks to its diverse character, we will visit valuable landmarks. Among the places to be seen upon arrival are the Royal Palace, the Chinese and Japanese Houses, Brussels Cathedral, the city square, the Stock Exchange Building, the Atomium Monument, and the Manneken Pis Statue. 4th Day Brussels – Paris

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world. Upon arrival in Paris, the places to be seen include Charles de Gaulle and the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, the Louvre Museum and its Pyramid, Étoile Square, Grand Palais and Petit Palais Exhibition Palaces, Concorde Square and the Obelisk, the French Parliament Building, Alexander III Bridge, the Seine River, Napoleon’s Tomb, and the Eiffel Tower. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at our hotel in Paris or surroundings.


5th Day Paris

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Cruise tour (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Cruise & Montmartre Artists’ Hill & Sacré-Cœur Basilica & Notre-Dame Cathedral) (110 Euro). Our first stop is the iconic Eiffel Tower, visited by millions of tourists every year. By going up to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, you will have the chance to see Paris from above. Then we take a boat tour on the Seine River, which divides Paris into two. After seeing the historical landmarks on both banks of the river during the cruise, we take the cable car up to Montmartre Hill, the highest hill in Paris. The first place to be seen on this hill, where traces of important artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent van Gogh, and Jean Marais can be found, will be the Sacré-Cœur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart). After seeing this structure up close, we take a break at Tertre Square, where you can shop and have your portrait drawn, before visiting Notre-Dame Cathedral, a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of Paris’s skyline. Notre-Dame Cathedral was built between 1137 and 1180 by order of King Louis VII to show the political, economic, and cultural power of Paris to the world. After seeing this magnificent building, we take a short photo break. Then transfer to our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the optional Paris Under the Lights tour (35 Euro). Paris is beautiful both by day and by night. 6th Day Paris – Luxembourg

After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for Luxembourg. Upon arrival, our Luxembourg city tour begins. Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Ducal Palace, City Hall, and Constitution Square are among the places to be seen. Our first stop is Trier, founded by the Romans in 15 BC and known as the oldest city in Germany. Located in the Moselle Wine Region among vine-covered low red sandstone hills along the Moselle River, our city tour in Trier will include Porta Nigra, the largest surviving Roman city gate north of the Alps; Roman ruins listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; St. Peter’s Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady; Constantine’s Basilica; and the house where the father of scientific socialism, revolutionary thinker Karl Marx, was born. After visiting Trier, we head to Remich, a tax-free town where you can do the cheapest shopping during our tour. Due to Luxembourg’s low-tax policies and border location, you can buy products such as chocolate, coffee, and alcoholic beverages very cheaply here. Finally, we visit Schengen, the point where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet, and where the agreement for free movement among European Union member states, which abolished passport controls, was signed. 7th Day Luxembourg – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region. While touring Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest medieval neighborhoods paved with cobblestones. With its fairytale-like nature and historical buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is truly worth seeing. Strasbourg also has historical significance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written, and it appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture are blended. During our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, the Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district decorated with traditional Alsace houses will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, our guests who wish may join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages of Alsace tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) (110 Euro). In a tour where we will want to take photos at every opportunity from beginning to end, our first visit will be Eguisheim. Awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval buildings, Gothic churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, you will see St. Martin’s Cathedral, built entirely of pink stone, Little Venice, which resembles Venice in Italy with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building adorned with faces. Our third stop is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region as a medieval French town. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical texture. In particular, the 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle is one of the town’s most prominent landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the city center, also stands out with its Gothic architecture. After the tour, our final stop is Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most enchanting towns, with many half-timbered houses that give the town its charm. This historic village enchants visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old walls of the village to feel the medieval ambiance. 8th Day Strasbourg – Freiburg – Basel

After breakfast at the hotel, departure from the rooms and heading to Freiburg. Freiburg, Germany’s fourth-largest city, is located near the Black Forest and is a medieval city rich in history that enchants visitors with its natural beauty. During our city tour here, the Münster Cathedral, one of the city’s symbols and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture; Markthalle (Covered Market); Münsterplatz (Main Square); Rathausplatz; Kaiser Joseph Street; Augustiner Platz; Adelhauser Platz; and Gerberau will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to Basel. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Basel, Switzerland’s third most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that combines both modern and historical elements and, although small in area, holds many treasures. During our city tour of this city, Basel Cathedral, where the grave of the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus of Rotterdam is located; Marktplatz, the city’s main square; the Government Building; and Hotel Les Trois Rois will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, we proceed to Basel Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Istanbul at 18:05 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1926. Arrival at 23:15 local time and end of the tour.
