Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali founded a museum here to leave something in this place where he was born and to exhibit his works. Today this museum has the largest Dali collection and is regarded as Dali’s greatest work, since every part of it was designed by Dali himself. The museum contains more than 4,000 works by Dali made using different techniques. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Flamenco Fire tour. Day 3 Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra tour of Gaudi’s Magnificent Work, Park Guell & Gothic Quarter. (60 Euro) Our first stop is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This park, called a fairy-tale park, creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairs and imaginary pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historical fabric with its narrow, maze-like streets from the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the area are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Sitges Tour. (40 Euro) Sitges is a charming seaside town located on the Mediterranean coast southwest of Barcelona. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, and is also known for its art and culture events, hosting many art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will begin our trip with the magical stairs of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla cathedral and lose ourselves in its historic streets. Dating back to the 17th century, this cathedral was built on the remains of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey will take us through the historic streets of Sitges, where the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the exquisite examples of Modernism in the old town center, is a true paradise for collectors. Right across from it is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. As he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he also played the greatest role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which hosts horror and fantasy film categories and attracts thousands of people every year, is celebrated, we will head toward the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day there like the locals.
