In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historical texture with its narrow labyrinth-like streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the area are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla.
