The main dome with a diameter of 32 meters corresponds to the 32 obligatory prayers, the 28 domes in the courtyard correspond to the 28 prophets mentioned in the Quran, and the 40 windows of the main dome correspond to the age at which Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) became a prophet and 40 rakats of prayer. The 6 minarets with a height of 99 meters correspond to the 99 beautiful names of Allah. After visiting this architectural wonder, we say goodbye to Adana and head towards Gaziantep.
- We start our Gaziantep tour at Gaziantep Castle, built on a hill in the city center. Although it is unknown when the castle was built, it is known to have been used for observation during the Roman period. The castle has been restored many times throughout history and received its last form during a renovation at the beginning of the 2000s. It suffered significant damage in the 2023 earthquake. After viewing the castle, we walk through its streets to visit the tombs of Pir Sefa and Hz. Yuşa. Next, we see the Coppersmiths Bazaar, Spices Bazaar, Vegetable Hall, Historical Paşa Han, Tahtani Mosque, Uzun Bazaar, Historical Customs Inn, Zincirli Bedesten, and Kunduracılar Bazaar, reaching the Coppersmith Bazaar. Here, we explore the 250-year-old Almacı Bazaar, known as the oldest bazaar in Gaziantep. After that, we arrive at Tahmis Coffee. Established between 1635-1638 by Türkmen Ağa and Sancak Bey Mustafa Ağa Bin Yusuf, to generate income for the Mevlevihane Tekkesi, we take time to enjoy Menengiç Coffee and do some shopping in the bazaars. After our free time, we will move on to the Zeugma Museum, located in the ancient city of Zeugma, named for its meaning of bringing two banks together during the Roman period. After the construction of the Birecik Dam, Zeugma was submerged. The beautiful mosaics of the villas owned by Roman generals were removed and exhibited in the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Opened in Gaziantep on September 9, 2011, it is the second-largest mosaic museum in the world, featuring the world-renowned “Gypsy Girl” mosaic and many mosaics based on Greek mythology, which we will explore with our guide’s explanations. After visiting the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, we bid farewell to Gaziantep and head to Halfeti, one of our country’s “Cittaslow” cities.
- After the construction of Birecik Dam, part of Halfeti has been submerged in the dam lake. With our guests, we will start the Halfeti Boat Tour on our waiting boat (extra). The Pool, located southwest of Şanlıurfa city center, is the site where Prophet Abraham is believed to have fallen when he was thrown into the fire. Known for its sacred fish and surrounding historic sites, it is one of the most visited locations in Şanlıurfa. After visiting the Pool of Abraham (Halil-Ür Rahman) and Aynzeliha Lake, which is said to have been formed from the tears of Zeliha, the daughter of Nimrod, we will have a photo break. Afterward, we will have free time in the authentic bazaars of Şanlıurfa to purchase unique local products. After our free time, we will board our bus and proceed to Harran, which means "the intersection of roads."

Starting from Cumhuriyet Square, we will see Sheikh Çabuk Mosque, Zinciriye Medrese, Mardin Protestant Church, Latifiye Mosque, and the Ince Market (Cattle Bazaar), along with the Coppersmith Bazaar. We will visit Mardin Grand Mosque, recognized as the symbol of Mardin due to its layered dome and minaret. According to records, it was originally built as a two-minaret structure in 1176, but the current minaret was rebuilt in 1888/1889 in a new eclectic style. Some Syriac authors claim it to have been converted from a church. Although it may not have been converted from a church, it is likely that an old church exists in its location. After this, we will continue our walk through the small tunnels connecting the streets, known as Abbaras. We will see Şahtana Mansion, an old Armenian mansion which was once used as a PTT building. Then, we will visit Şehidiye Mosque, built by Artuqid Sultan Nasreddin Artuk Arslan in the early 13th century, followed by a short break to have tea overlooking the Mesopotamian Plain, where we can take stunning photographs.
