Meet at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal at Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Madrid on Turkish Airlines flight TK1857. Upon arrival, we will head towards the city center of Madrid with our vehicle waiting at the airport. As soon as we reach the city, our panoramic city tour begins. In one of Europe’s most dynamic capitals, Madrid, we first see one of the city's symbols, the Bullring (from outside). We then proceed through areas characterized by broad boulevards and monumental structures, reaching Alcalá Gate and the Plaza de la Independencia. While advancing on Gran Via, one of the city's beating hearts, we have the opportunity to observe the architectural texture and daily life of Madrid. Continuing on the Paseo de la Castellana line, we see Bernabéu Stadium (from outside), Plaza Castilla, and the business towers that have become a symbol of modern Madrid panoramic. Passing by Atocha Train Station and the Prado Museum (from outside), we head towards the historical center of the city. The statue of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza at Plaza de España and the Royal Palace (from outside) are among the significant stops in this section. In the final part of our tour, we reach Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, one of the liveliest spots in Madrid. After a short free time here, we head towards our hotel in Madrid for our overnight stay.
- DAY MADRID - TOLEDO - LAS ROZAS - MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave Madrid and head towards Toledo, one of Spain's most important cities historically and culturally. Built on a hill surrounded by the Tajo River, this city has been one of the rare centers where Christian, Muslim, and Jewish cultures coexisted during the Middle Ages. Upon arrival in Toledo, we will have a city tour during which we will have the opportunity to closely observe this unique city, resembling an open-air museum with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and preserved architecture. Important structures on our sightseeing route will include the Toledo Cathedral (from outside), old mosques converted into churches, traditional craft workshops, and historical squares. After our tour in Toledo, we return to Madrid and reach Las Rozas Outlet, one of the significant shopping points in the city. We will provide free time for shopping and resting in this area where you can find the stores of globally renowned brands. We’ll return to our hotel in Madrid for overnight accommodation in the continuation of the day.
- DAY MADRID - SEVILLA
After breakfast, we set off towards the Andalusia region, progressing through Mérida to reach Sevilla. Our city tour in Sevilla begins at Plaza de España, one of the most significant points symbolizing the Age of Exploration in Spain. This spacious area, located within Maria Luisa Park, stands out with its architectural details representing different regions of Spain. Then, we take a short walk around Plaza America, feeling the city’s calmer and greener texture. Continuing our tour, we see Sevilla Cathedral, where the tomb of Christopher Columbus is located, from the outside and establish a connection between this and the Giralda Minaret, which rises right beside it and has been preserved from the Andalusian period. During our walking tour in the city center, we will pass by Alcazar Palace (from outside), shaped by both Andalusia and Christian architecture, followed by the area where records of the maritime expeditions made to America during the Age of Discovery were kept, known as the Archives of the Indies. We then reach the narrow streets of Santa Cruz, one of Sevilla's most characteristic neighborhoods. Continuing our walk, we will see the structure that was once used as a tobacco factory and is now considered a university campus, as well as the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) by the Guadalquivir River. After our tour, we will allow for a short free time in the Triana area. In the evening, we will watch a flamenco performance, one of the strongest reflections of Andalusian culture. This performance, where music, rhythm, and dance merge, will be one of the special moments of the day. After this, we will transfer to our hotel in Sevilla for an overnight stay.
- DAY SEVILLA - CORDOBA - GRANADA
We depart from Sevilla heading towards Cordoba, one of the most important cities in Andalusia. After approximately 1.5 hours of travel, we arrive at this historical city located by the Guadalquivir River. We begin our tour of Cordoba by walking over the impressive bridge that has survived from the Roman period and then enter the historical center through the ancient gates. Once an important center of the Umayyad Caliphate in Andalusia, we visit the Great Mosque of Córdoba, considered one of the most magnificent works of Islamic architecture. Supported by hundreds of columns, this structure reflects the power and aesthetic understanding of the Andalusian period with its architectural details and atmosphere. As we continue our city tour, we encounter flower-adorned courtyards, traditional Andalusian houses, and buildings bearing the traces of different cultures as we move through the narrow streets of Cordoba. Old inns and the finest examples of local architecture turn this walk into a unique experience where we can feel the spirit of the city. After a short break, we continue our journey towards Granada. Upon arrival in Granada, our city tour begins. Important stops during the tour include Gran Via Street, Bib Rambla Square, and Granada Cathedral (from outside). The commercial heart of the city, Alcaiceria (Silk Market), and the old caravanserai are also included in our route. As we proceed, we head towards the Albaicín district, which carries the traces of the Andalusian period to the present day. This district, with its narrow streets, white houses, and views overlooking Granada, is one of the city’s most characteristic spots. In the Sacromonte area, we will learn about cave houses and traditional lifestyle. In the end, we check-in at our hotel in Granada for the night.
- DAY GRANADA - ALHAMBRA PALACE - VALENCIA
We set off from Granada towards the Alhambra Palace, one of the most important heritages of the Andalusian civilization. Located on the Sabika Hill and elevated over the city, the Alhambra is not just a palace but a comprehensive complex built with defensive structures, gardens, and living spaces. Construction began in the 13th century by the Nasrid dynasty, and this structure represents the peak of Andalusian art with its intricate craft and detailed decorations. During our visit, we will explore the courtyards, interiors, and gardens of the palace, gaining insight into the aesthetic sensibilities and life culture of the period. The combination of water elements with architecture, geometric decorations, and elegant motifs are some of the unique features that make this structure remarkable. (Access to the harem section may be restricted during peak periods; in this case, the program will continue with the palace's open areas and gardens.)
After our visit to the Alhambra, we make a quick return to the center of Granada to complete our preparation for the journey and then depart for Valencia. Upon arrival in Valencia, our panoramic city tour begins. Valencia, the third largest city in Spain, features a dynamic structure where historical texture meets modern architecture. During the city tour, prominent spots include the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Arts and Sciences Museum complex, historical Central Market, and the old silk exchange La Lonja de la Seda, all viewed panoramically. After our tour, we check-in at our hotel in Valencia.
- DAY VALENCIA - BARCELONA
Leaving Valencia, we proceed with a delightful journey along the Mediterranean shores towards Barcelona. Upon arrival, our city tour in Barcelona begins. As the capital of Catalonia, this city stands out as one of Spain's most characteristic centers with its architecture, lifestyle, and energy. During our tour, we will view La Sagrada Familia, one of Antoni Gaudí’s main works, from the outside, examining the architectural details of this structure, which has become one of the city’s symbols. Next, we head down to the harbor area where the Columbus Monument stands, and then we enjoy the overall panorama of Barcelona from Montjuic Hill. As we walk along La Rambla, one of the city's busiest spots, we feel the rhythm of daily life.
- DAY BARCELONA & GOTIC AND EL BORN NEIGHBORHOODS
We start the day in one of Barcelona's most characteristic areas, the Gothic Quarter. Its narrow streets, stone structures, and the atmosphere dating from the Middle Ages make this district one of the oldest settlements in the city. During our walk, we spend time around the Barcelona Cathedral and progress through historical squares and hidden courtyards. Next, we move to the El Born district, famous for its art galleries, small boutique shops, and where the historical texture interplays with modern life, making it one of the most vibrant and characteristic neighborhoods of Barcelona. We feel the spirit of the area more closely with the walk around Santa Maria del Mar Church. In the continuation of the day, we will provide free time to enjoy Barcelona. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Barcelona.
- DAY BARCELONA - ISTANBUL
We check out from our hotel in Barcelona, meet with our guide at the designated time, and head towards the airport. After luggage and passport procedures, we board Turkish Airlines flight TK1856 to Istanbul. Upon our arrival in Istanbul at local time, we conclude our tour.
