  1. DAY 1 – ISTANBUL – MADRID

Meeting at Turkish Airlines counter in the departure terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Madrid on Turkish Airlines flight TK1857 at 06:55. Arrival at 10:25 local time, and our panoramic city tour starts with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In Madrid, one of Europe's most populous capitals with a population of 3.5 million, we will first see the Bullring (from the outside), Alcala Gate, and Independence Square, followed by the Sibeles Monument. Then, the famous street Gran Via will welcome us as “Bienvenido” (Welcome), and we will pass Paseo de la Castellana, seeing Bernabéu Stadium, the skyscrapers of Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the famous Prado Museum (from the outside), the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza at Plaza de España, the Royal Palace (from the outside), and the nine-arched Plaza Mayor. Finally, we will reach the heart of Madrid, Sol Square, where we will end our tour and give free time. After some free time, we will transfer to our hotel in Madrid for overnight accommodation.

  1. DAY 2 – MADRID – TOLEDO & SEGOVIA – LAS ROZAS – MADRID

After having breakfast at the hotel, those who wish can join the extra Toledo tour (65 Euro) and the Segovia & Las Rozas tour (60 Euro). These extra tours will be conducted in an order deemed appropriate by our guide, with one taking place in the morning and the other in the afternoon. During our Toledo tour, we will visit the city of Toledo, the former capital of Spain, now a religious center. A city that should not be missed when visiting Spain; Toledo appears as an island surrounded by the Tajo River, built on a hilltop. The city, which is on the UNESCO protection list, has preserved its historical texture very well to this day. We will see its buildings bearing the architectural traces of many cultures, its narrow streets, and the famous cathedral of Toledo (from the outside). In addition, we will witness its sword workshops and many more wonders. In the Segovia & Pedreza tour, we will head to another royal center and medieval city, Segovia. Our first stop in Segovia will be the Segovia aqueduct, an important remnant from the Roman era, standing 28 meters high at the entrance of the city, consisting of 15 km of aqueducts. After a short break at this 2000-year-old engineering marvel, we will successively see the Segovia Cathedral, known as the queen of cathedrals, the Alcazar Palace, which inspired the logo of Disneyland (from the outside), and the surrounding Jewish Quarter with its historic streets and impressive structures. After seeing every corner of this historically rich city, we will have some free time and then move to Las Rozas. Las Rozas Village, just half an hour from Segovia, is Spain's most famous outlet shopping center, where you can find many world-famous brands at very special prices. After some free time in this renowned shopping area, we head back to Madrid. Overnight in the hotel in Madrid.

  1. DAY 3 – MADRID – SEVILLA

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia, via Merida. In Sevilla, we will start our visit at Maria Luisa Park, which contains Plaza de España and Plaza America. It is possible to see traces of the wealth gained from the colonies at every corner of Sevilla, the gateway to the Empire of Spain's colonies. Next, we will visit the Sevilla Cathedral (from the outside), the world’s third-largest cathedral, which contains the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Right next to the cathedral, we will see the Giralda Bell Tower, the last piece of the mosque that the Cathedral was built over, which recalls the memory of the Andalusian Emirate. Later, with our guide, we will perform a walking tour where we will see the Alcazar, a palace of Iberian and Christian architecture (from the outside), and then pass by the Archives of the Indies, showcasing all the sea voyages made to the Americas from the 16th to the 19th centuries, eventually reaching the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter, “old” Sevilla. After seeing the Torre del Oro, formerly a tobacco factory, now the maritime museum, at the end of our walking tour and visiting the “Gypsy neighborhood,” we will have some free time before returning to our hotel. In the evening, those who wish can join the extra Flamenco tour (55 Euro). You will be mesmerized watching Flamenco, the dance of love, pain, rebellion, and passion. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel in Sevilla. Overnight at the hotel.

  1. DAY 4 – SEVILLA – CORDOBA – GRANADA

After having an early breakfast at the hotel, those who wish can join the extra Cordoba tour, where we will discover the beauties of Andalusia, Sevilla, and Granada, a historical city of the region (55 Euro). After a 1.5-hour journey, we will be welcomed by the Guadalquivir River in Cordoba. We will walk through the ancient Roman bridge and enter the city via the Roman gate. The most magnificent structure of this 2000-year-old city is the Great Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, which stands on 850 columns. We will visit this magnificent work with our guide, witnessing its glory while receiving fascinating information. After our tour of the Great Mosque, we will explore the ancient streets. On our way, we will admire Cordoba’s flower-filled streets, the ancient inns showcasing the delicacies of Andalusian architecture, and the famous Cordoba houses. As we pass through beautiful courtyards, the sound of trickling water will fill our ears while our eyes feast on a thousand colors of flowers. Finally, after a short free time in the historic city center, we will return to Sevilla, collect our luggage, take a short break, and then continue our journey to Granada. Upon arrival, our Granada city tour will begin, covering Gran Via Street, Bib Rambla, the Granada Cathedral (from the outside), the first university of Granada, Madraza, the Silk Market, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After the city tour, we will check into the hotel. In the evening, those who wish can join the extra Sacromonte Gypsy Neighborhood and Albaicin Tour (45 Euro). After a stroll through the old Muslim neighborhood of Albaicin, which is protected under the cultural heritage list of Spain, we will watch a Gypsy show and observe their lifestyle in caves, where everything is handmade. After the tour, we will return to our hotel in Granada. Overnight at the hotel.

  1. DAY 5 – GRANADA – ALHAMBRA PALACE - VALENCIA

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the Alhambra Palace tour. (Tickets for the Harem section may not be available during the high season. In this case, only the garden entrance will be allowed.) Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this famous structure began construction in the 13th century as a fortress and palace on the Sabika hill, overlooking Granada, and was completed in the 15th century. Although it may appear a bit rough from the outside, it has been crafted intricately by the finest craftsmen of the era. The palace is known as “The Red Palace” due to the red clay used in its construction. After our tour, we will return to the hotel to collect our luggage and set off for Valencia. Valencia is the 3rd largest city in Spain by population and has the country's largest port. This city blends the old and the new, featuring both ancient structures and modern buildings. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, the Arts and Science Museum, the Historic Market Mercado Central, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Valencia, check into our rooms, and enjoy some free time. Overnight at the hotel.

  1. DAY 6 – VALENCIA – BARCELONA

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Barcelona. Upon arrival, our Barcelona city tour will begin. After Madrid, Barcelona is the 2nd largest city in Spain and the capital of Catalonia, featuring sights such as La Sagrada Familia Church, the Columbus Monument, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Avenue, and the Spain and Catalunya Squares, Paseo de Gracia, Gran Via Avenue, the Andalusian Arena, and the Olympic Port. After the panoramic tour and some free time, we will transfer to our hotel in Barcelona, check into our rooms. Overnight at the hotel.

  1. DAY 7 – BARCELONA & GIRONA & FIGUERAS (DALÍ MUSEUM)

After having breakfast at the hotel, guests wishing may join the extra Girona & Figueras (Dalí Museum) tour. (70 Euros). The tour starts in Girona, the jewel of Northern Catalonia, located at the junction of the Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers. The area is historically rich, possessing structures remaining from various occupations and reigns since the Iberians. All buildings are made of stone and have been so well-preserved that they perfectly reflect the spirit of the past. The city’s museums, churches, cobbled narrow streets, and medieval walls make it a favorite among tourists. The Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the Jewish Quarter are some of the places to visit. After the tour, we will head towards Figueras. The significance of this town stems from the fact that the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí was born here in 1904. He established a museum to leave his mark and showcase his works. This museum today holds the largest collection of Dalí's works and is considered his greatest creation, designed down to the last detail by Dalí. The museum contains more than 4000 works made by Dalí using different techniques. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel in Barcelona. Overnight at the hotel.

  1. DAY 8 – BARCELONA – ISTANBUL

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to the airport at the time designated by the guide. Those who wish can join the extra “Barcelona Wonders: Park Güell, Gothic Quarter, and El Born Tour” (60 Euros). During this tour, we will explore Park Güell, a masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi, the renowned architect-designer, which is under UNESCO protection. We will walk along the paths inspired by nature, see the house Gaudi built for himself, and enjoy the most beautiful view of Barcelona from the terrace surrounded by houses that look like they were made of candy and the famous mosaic lizard. After enjoying our time in Güell, we will visit the Gothic Quarter, followed by a visit to La Rambla, where we will see the 19th-century La Boqueria (Covered Market). We will explore narrow streets and see the glorious remnants of Roman Barcelona, including the Agustus Temple, the Jewish Quarter, the Palace of the Barons of Barcelona, and the Aragon Royal Archive Building, as well as the Barcelona Gothic Cathedral, the Bishop's Bridge, and Sant Jaume Square. Afterward, we will move to El Born, where we will see the Catalan Cultural Center, significant in Catalan history, and the famous “Catalan Cathedral” of the people, Katedral Maria del Mar. After free time in El Born's renowned cafes and bars, we will return to the airport at the time designated by our guide. After checking bags, tickets, and passports, we will depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1856 at 18:30, arriving at 23:00 local time, and marking the end of our tour.
