Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. Structures bearing traces of Roman, Visigoth, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco paintings, typical pastry shops, Damascino shops, and of course, the famous cathedral make it a tourist pilgrimage site. Another tradition in Toledo is the production of marzipan dating back to the time Arabs conquered the city. A visit to Toledo would not be complete without tasting this mouth-watering confection. After a walk in the Jewish quarter, we head back to Madrid. Accommodation at our hotel.
