GENERAL CONDITIONS
- The General Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered separately from it.
- If sufficient participation is not achieved, Wtatil reserves the right to cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation notice will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded. For additional services purchased outside the tour, including domestic connection flights provided by Wtatil, the refund covers these services as well. If a visa service or travel health insurance has been used by applying for a visa on behalf of the guest, these services are non-refundable. If no visa application was made, the visa and travel health insurance can be canceled and refunded. If the guest obtained their domestic connection flight from a different provider independent of Wtatil, Wtatil cannot claim any refund in case of tour cancellation. Guests accept and agree in advance to any material or moral losses that may arise from the cancellation, and Wtatil shall not be held responsible.
- If sufficient participation is not secured, Wtatil reserves the right, out of good faith, not to cancel the tour. In this case, the tour will be provided individually to the guest, and the guided services included in the package will only cover the international outbound and inbound transfers.
Cancellations and Changes
- Guests can cancel without penalty by informing Wtatil in writing at least 30 days before the departure date. Except for airline tickets that have been paid for or committed to Wtatil, all cancellations made within this period are penalty-free. If canceled less than 30 days before departure, a penalty equivalent to 50% of the remaining tour fee applies if the cancellation occurs within 31 days or fewer from the start date, and the full tour fee must be paid as penalty if canceled within 15 days or fewer. Additional services such as domestic connection flights, visa services, and travel health insurances have different refund conditions depending on the timing of cancellation; prior inquiry is required. Wtatil cannot guarantee refunds for additional services.
Guided Services and Extra Tours
- The dates and times of the tours specified in the program are subject to change based on the open/closed status of museums and historical sites in the destinations, and weather conditions. During the tours, different guides may accompany the guests.
- For panoramic city tours included in the package, which are aimed at general introduction of the cities and lasting 2-3 hours without museum or historical site entries, the tours may be affected or canceled due to local authority restrictions, site closures, or weather conditions. Wtatil is not responsible for these issues. Some tours may be conducted using public transportation or on foot when access is restricted or in inaccessible locations.
- Our guide may make changes to the city or additional tours depending on the content, participant numbers, and site closures. These changes also apply to flight times.
- For tours conducted by speed boats, guests should avoid heavy meals and excessive water intake immediately before boarding. Those with stomach, back, neck issues or pregnant guests should inform their guides.
- No refunds are provided if guests choose not to participate in services like sightseeing or meals included in the price.
Flight Information
- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline. In case of disputes, applicable Turkish laws, the Hague Protocol, and the Warsaw Convention will be enforced.
- Scheduled and charter flights may experience delays or schedule changes. Wtatil will notify guests as soon as possible. Guests accept the risks associated with flight schedule changes or cancellations when purchasing the tour.
- Children aged 0-2 only pay travel tax.
- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled automatically by the airline.
- Check-in and boarding procedures for participants in air tours are personal and must be completed by guests at airports or online before the flight.
- Last-minute delays or gate changes are announced via public announcements and displayed on information screens at airports. Guests should follow these updates actively.
- Guests who do not arrive at the airport on time for check-in or boarding, or who fail to complete these procedures and miss their flight, are solely responsible for any consequences, and Wtatil is not responsible. Re-boarding or re-routing costs are borne by the guest.
- Usually, luggage weight is 20 kg for flights from Turkey, but this can vary by airline and destination. Domestic flights may have a limit of 15 kg. Excess baggage fees are determined by airlines and are not Wtatil’s responsibility.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their tickets to business or first class after issuance can do so depending on availability of miles with the airline; however, no guarantee of upgrade is provided. Check whether the program’s tickets are eligible for upgrade before purchasing.
- Some airlines may charge extra for meals and online check-in services.
Other Matters
- Wtatil is not responsible for any modifications or cancellations made directly with hotels by guests. In such cases, hotel cancellation policies will apply.
- If hotel names are not specified but only categories are provided, or if alternative options are offered for the same destination, guests will be notified at least 48 hours before departure.
- During special periods like fairs, congresses, concerts, events, or sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther than usual from the designated locations. Wtatil will notify guests at least 15 days prior in such cases.
- When booking the tour, guests must accurately provide their passport name, birth date, and passport number in the system, as tickets are issued based on this information. Incorrect information may result in cancellations or changes at the guest’s expense.
- Before traveling abroad, guests should check if their mobile phones are unlocked for international use by contacting their service provider.
- Hotel check-in time is typically from 15:00, and check-out time is by 12:00.
- Wtatil will communicate special requests regarding rooms (e.g., high floor, proximity to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed types) to hotels. While efforts will be made to fulfill guest preferences depending on availability, these are not guaranteed.
- Breakfasts at hotels vary; generally, continental breakfasts consisting of butter, jam, bread, and beverage are served, sometimes in dedicated rooms for groups.
- Some double rooms may have single beds or beds that can be joined when necessary.
- Child and extra bed policies vary by hotel and room type.
- Extra beds and cribs are available upon request, subject to hotel approval and availability.
- Maximum one extra bed or crib per room exists.
- In triple rooms, an extra bed (smaller than standard beds) is provided, composed of a large bed plus an additional foldable or coach bed. Guests accept and acknowledge possible restrictions on space and bedding.
- If the number of adults and children or the ages of children are incorrectly reported during reservation, hotels may charge additional fees. Responsibility for inaccuracies lies with the guest. Identification may be requested for children.
- For reservations with 2 adults and 1 child, separate beds for the child may not be available. Child discounts are valid only when the child stays with two adults and is within the appropriate age group.
- Exchange rate fluctuations during the day may affect prices; current rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional services like mini bar or ironing may incur extra charges payable directly at the hotel.
- Local taxes, tourism taxes, and city fees may vary by country or region and will be collected at check-in or check-out by the hotel from the guest.
- The distances provided in the itineraries are map-based estimates; actual travel times may vary depending on traffic, weather, and local conditions.
- Wtatil reserves the right to alter the order of cities or change main flight routes without prior notice if deemed necessary for operational reasons.
- Personal belongings, luggage, passports, and IDs are the responsibility of the guests; Wtatil is not liable for loss, theft, or forgetting items. Any costs related to retrieving lost items are borne by the guest.
- Guests should carry their travel health insurance policies, medications, and reports during the trip.
- Additional expenses such as deposits at hotels (with official photo ID and credit card or cash) may be requested upon check-in. Refunds for deposits are processed directly between the guest and the hotel.

- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of the trip.
- To pass through customs or border controls, the passport must have at least 2 blank pages for stamps.
- Visa exemption for entry does not guarantee entry; border security has authority to deny entry or exit. Wtatil is not responsible for such scenarios.
- Guests holding non-Turkish or dual passports must consult relevant consulates regarding visa requirements; Wtatil is not responsible for resulting issues.
- Passports that are torn, worn, wet, or damaged should be renewed to avoid problems at borders; responsibility lies with the guest.
- Minors traveling alone or with only one parent need to be aware that border authorities may request consent documents from parents. Guests are advised to prepare accordingly.
