Day 1 ISTANBUL – BARCELONA
We meet at Istanbul Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we take our Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, we proceed to our private coach waiting for us at the airport. We begin our program with a panoramic city tour. During our tour, Plaza de Catalunya, La Rambla Avenue, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Plaza de Espana, and the Basilica of La Sagrada Familia, a masterpiece of the world-famous architect Antoni Gaudí (a photo stop will be given), will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Barcelona and free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 2 BARCELONA – GİRONA – FIGUERES & DALÍ MUSEUM
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for our Girona & Figueres & Dalí Museum tour. We will visit the city of Girona, with its medieval architectural structures, its great cathedral, and the Jewish Quarter. Then we will see the town of Figueres, where the famous painter Dalí was born, and the Dalí Museum. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Barcelona and free time to rest. Day 3 BARCELONA – VALENCIA
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Valencia. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour; among the places to see are Valencia Cathedral, notable for its Gothic architecture, the Micalet Bell Tower, one of the city’s symbols, and the fertile orchards famous for their orange groves. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Valencia and free time to rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 VALENCIA – GRANADA – ALHAMBRA
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Granada. Upon arrival in Granada, we will take a panoramic city tour, where among the historical streets of Andalusia/Granada, we will see Grand Via, La Rambla, and the Town Hall Square, surrounded by works from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods. After the tour, our guests will visit the Alhambra Palace tour (subject to palace availability; excluding the Harem entrance). The palace, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Granada and free time to rest. Day 5 GRANADA – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Cordoba. Founded during the Roman Empire, Cordoba experienced the brightest period of Islamic culture during the 10th century under the Umayyads of Andalusia and was once one of the largest and most developed cities in Europe. In this enchanting city, famous for its rich historical fabric, narrow Arab streets, and flower-adorned courtyards, we will see important structures such as the Roman Bridge and the Cordoba Mosque (panoramic) with its unique architecture in the heart of the old city during our panoramic city tour. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Seville and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 6 SEVILLE – RONDA – SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, panoramic Seville city tour, including places to see such as the Plaza de España and the Golden Tower. After the tour, we head to Ronda. Ronda holds the distinction of being the last fortress handed over to the Spaniards by the Umayyads as they withdrew from the peninsula. For this reason, it appears as a place shaped under the influence of both Islam and Christianity, adorned with indelible traces. Built on a large rock on both sides of a steep limestone ravine, it is a typical white Andalusian village and home to the world’s oldest bullring. Day 7 SEVILLE – TOLEDO – MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Toledo and a panoramic city tour. Toledo, founded by Jews in 590 BC, is one of Spain’s most important historical and tourist cities, where people of three major religions live together peacefully today. It is known as the city of knights. The Tagus, the largest river on the Iberian Peninsula, flows through the city. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. As one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and protected. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascene work), and workshops and shops where gold craftsmanship is made will be among the places to see. Day 8 MADRID – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the rooms and departure for our panoramic Madrid city tour. Among the places to see are the lively square of Puerto del Sol, the historic Plaza Mayor, the city’s main avenue Paseo de la Castellana, the world-famous Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the bullring, Gran Via, and Plaza de España. Then transfer to the airport at the time specified by our guide. Flight to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled service. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, the end of our tour and services.
