GENERAL TERMS

1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.

2- In the event that sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Wtatil may cancel the tour up to 21 days prior to the travel date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The entire tour fee will be refunded to the guest. In the case of refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour; domestic flight connections obtained from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest, but if visa services and travel health insurance have been processed for the guest, these services cannot be refunded as they have been utilized. If the guest purchased the domestic flight connection from a different provider independent of Wtatil, they cannot claim any refund from Wtatil in the event of the trip being canceled by Wtatil. The guest accepts in advance all potential financial and moral losses arising from the cancellation of the tour upon purchasing the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.

3- In case sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Wtatil has the right to show goodwill and not cancel the tour. In this case, the guiding services included in the package will only cover the airport transfers for the international round trip.

Cancellation and Changes

4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty until 30 days before the tour departure date, provided that they notify Wtatil in writing, except for airline tickets that have been paid for and/or committed to by Wtatil. In the case of less than 31 days remaining until the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour price from the airfare. If cancellation is made 15 days or less before the trip start date, the entire tour price will be subject to cancellation fees. If a cancellation request is made, due to the varying refund conditions of additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance, it is necessary to inquire about the refund policy in advance. Wtatil cannot make any commitment regarding the refund of additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

5- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on the current status of the museums and sites to be visited, their open/closed status, and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted as a panoramic tour with the guide's narration from the vehicle without including entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites. Panoramic tours are subject to local authorities' permissions for visits on the days and times mentioned in the program, and if they cannot take place due to road closures or other activities, or due to weather conditions rendering the tour impossible, Wtatil is not responsible for the inability to perform the mentioned tours. Some tours may take place using public transport or on foot where there are closed roads or locations not permitting vehicle entry.

7- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours, depending on the number of participants and the status of the museum or archaeological site being closed. This also applies to possible changes in flight times.

8- Attention must be paid to the following points during our tours conducted with Speed Boats; heavy meals should not be consumed immediately before boarding, and excessive amounts of water should not be drunk. Guests with complaints related to the stomach, back, neck, and pregnant guests are required to inform their guides of their conditions.

9- There is no refund for services specified in the price that are not utilized, such as tour or meal services.

Regarding Flights

10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in the event of any dispute, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation will apply, as well as the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention.

11- There may be delays or changes in the flight times for scheduled and charter flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of changes/cancellation of flight times when purchasing the trip.

12- Infants aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.

13- According to airline rules, return flights will be cancelled by the airline if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket purchased is not used.

14- Check-in and boarding procedures for guests participating in flights are personal responsibilities, and these procedures must be completed by the guest at the airport, at the relevant airline counters, or online via the airline's website prior to the flight.

15- Last-minute delays and gate changes for flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information boards at the airport. This information must be monitored by the guests themselves.

16- Wtatil is not responsible for guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times indicated by the airline rules for tour participation or do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip tickets and transfers in the region for guests who miss their flights will be their responsibility.

17- The general baggage weight limit for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage weight for those flights may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil.

18- For guests wishing to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade procedures can be performed depending on the availability of the airline (check your membership with the airline). Mile guarantees are not provided for each flight. Check if the tickets for the program are in an upgradeable class.

19- Meal and online check-in services may incur additional charges with some airlines.

Other Matters

20- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellation made by the guest directly with the hotel. In this case, the cancellation conditions of Wtatil will apply.

21- In cases where hotel names are not specified in the tour program but only category information is provided and/or when options are presented for the same destination, this will be communicated to the guest by Wtatil 48 hours before the travel date.

22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located farther than the specified locations or distances. In such cases, the guest will be informed by Wtatil 15 days before the tour date.

23- When registering for the purchased tour; it is necessary for the guest to enter/declare the name as it appears on the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly in the system. Plane tickets are issued according to this information. Any penalty for cancellation or changes to flight tickets due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

24- To use your mobile phone abroad, please check before leaving Turkey whether your phone is activated for international use by contacting the company your line is registered with.

25- The check-in time for accommodation in hotels is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.

26- Wtatil will communicate any requests related to the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. Every effort will be made to assign the booked rooms according to the guest's preferences, subject to hotel availability. The fulfillment of these requests is dependent on the hotel's availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.

27- Breakfast offered in hotels may differ from the rich Turkish breakfast typically expected. Generally, it consists of limited options like butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room assigned to the group.

28- In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of two single beds. Most European hotels offer two single beds that can be combined if necessary.

29- The child and extra bed policy may vary by hotel and type of room.

30- All extra beds and baby cots are provided upon request and based on the hotel's availability, and must be approved by the hotel.

31- The maximum capacity for additional beds or baby cots in the room is one (1).

32- Triple rooms apply an additional bed policy, and the bed designated for the third person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed + one additional bed. Additional beds may consist of folding or coach beds. Our guests acknowledge that they accept the potential cramped situation and bed type due to the additional beds added to the standard room in triple room and/or reservations with children.

33- If the number of adults and children accompanying them in hotel reservations is incorrectly stated by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge extra fees. In this case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification of children.

34- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child. Child prices are only valid for children accommodated alongside two adults. Child discounts apply only for the "single child" in the age group compliant with staying with two adults.

35- Daily currency exchange rates are reflected in TL prices. Rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests, certain extra services (mini-bar, ironing, etc.) at the hotel are subject to extra charges. These expenses are not included in the total price when purchased and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

36- Some countries have different implementations regarding city, tourism, or local-level taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes applied this way will be collected by the hotel from the guest at the time of entry or exit.

37- The travel distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may vary due to traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the visited country, road works, and other factors.

38- Wtatil may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be flown if necessary, without altering the content of the program.

39- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of participants in the tour are their own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event of forgotten items being found, the expenses incurred in transporting them to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner.

40- It is mandatory for participants in the tour to carry their travel health insurance policies and any relevant medications and reports for any health issues.

41- For any extra expenses, the hotel may require a photo ID/passport and a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in. The return of the requested deposit at check-out is a matter between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no intervention.

Visa and Passport

42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.

43- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of travel.

44- To be able to stamp the entry-exit seal on your passport at customs crossings/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages available in your passport.

45- Being exempt from visa requirements for the countries in this tour does not mean an automatic permission to enter/exit the country; the passport police have the authority to deny entry or exit, and Wtatil is not responsible for this, as responsibility lies with the traveler.

46- Non-Turkish citizens or those with dual citizenship who will participate in the tour using their other country passport must personally inquire about the visa procedures of the visited country according to the passport they will use; Wtatil will not be held responsible for any consequences arising from failing to do so.

47- Passports that are torn, worn, wet, or otherwise damaged must be renewed to avoid issues with the customs police at the border of the visited country. Responsibility lies with the traveler in this case.

48- Guests under the age of 18 may be asked by the police to show a document indicating the joint consent of both parents when traveling alone or in the company of only one parent at the country’s entry and exit; it is advisable for guests under 18 and their parents to be sensitive regarding this issue.
