1st Day – Istanbul – Rome - Civitavecchia After meeting at Istanbul New Airport 4 hours before the flight, we complete our check-in procedures and take our flight to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, we are transferred to Civitavecchia port for check-in on our 5* Costa Toscana. 2nd Day – Genoa | Portofino Tour After breakfast, our guests who wish may join the extra Portofino tour organized by the ship. We will take a dreamlike tour of PORTOFINO, a village so enchanting that songs have been written about it. Our bus departing from Genoa will first go to the town of Santa Maria Liguria. From there, we will transfer to Portofino by local vehicles. We will have the opportunity to get to know this beautiful town more closely. During this tour, which will take about 5 hours, we will see unforgettable places. At the end of the tour, we return to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 3rd Day – Marseille | Aix-En-Provence & Marseille City Tour After breakfast on the ship, our guests who wish may join the Aix-En-Provence & Marseille Tour organized as an extra by the ship. We begin our tour with a 10-minute walk from Marseille port. After approximately a 40-minute drive by bus, we head to AIX-EN-PROVENCE, one of the most elegant cities in Southern France, which inspired many writers such as Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola. In this region, famous for lavender fields, we will visit a city full of beautiful buildings, flower-filled balconies, fountains that are each a work of art, and history everywhere. After Aix-en-Provence, we return to Marseille and begin our city tour. During the tour, we pass through the old port and visit Notre Dame De La Garde Church, one of the city’s most prominent historical sites, located on a high hill. Palais Longchamp is the second stop of our tour. During our visit to this building, which serves as the Fine Arts Museum, we will visit its gardens and fountains from the outside and have a photo stop. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 4th Day – Barcelona | Barcelona City Tour After breakfast, our guests who wish may join the Barcelona city tour organized as an extra by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. Among the places we will see are La Rambla Avenue, the Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic district and port, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gràcia Street where Gaudí’s houses have been turned into a street museum, and his most important masterpiece, Sagrada Familia. During our tour, we will go up Montjuïc Hill and take scenic photos. After free time for shopping on La Rambla, we will return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 5th Day – Sailing at Sea We will spend the entire day sailing at sea. It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner either at the open buffet restaurant, which offers a variety of fresh dishes prepared by expert chefs to suit every taste, or at your specially reserved seat in the à la carte restaurant. During the day, you can make use of yoga and fitness classes, as well as outdoor tennis, volleyball, and basketball, or the state-of-the-art Technogym-equipped gym, which includes bodybuilding equipment. After dinner, you may spend time in the ship’s colorful and lively bars and cafés listening to live music, attend Broadway-style musical theatre performances, or try your luck at the casino. Dinner and overnight on board our ship. 6th Day – Cagliari | Cagliari City Tour & Dolianova Vineyards After breakfast, our guests who wish may join the Cagliari city tour & Dolianova Vineyards tour organized as an extra by the ship. With our private vehicle at the port, we set off toward Danilova, where Sardinia’s famous wines are produced. Along the way, we will visit the 13th-century San Pantaleo Church. Afterwards, we will visit a wine cellar in the region and learn in detail about the wine-making process. Guests who wish may take part in a wine tasting. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 7th Day – Naples | Pompei & Naples City Tour After breakfast on the ship, our guests who wish may join the Pompei & Naples City Tour organized as an extra by the ship. Naples, the famous port of the Campania Region, is one of the few European cities whose ancient past has never completely disappeared. Founded by the Greeks and expanded by the Romans, over the centuries it became a prized treasure for foreign invaders. The legacy of this past makes it a noisy, high-crime, somewhat shabby, somewhat chaotic, yet still worth seeing metropolis. On this tour, while walking among the human and house remains in Pompeii, buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, you will experience the incredible destruction nature can inflict and its immense power. Afterwards, we head to Naples and, after a panoramic bus tour, we will see the Royal Square. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 8th Day – Civitavecchia – Rome - Istanbul After breakfast on the ship, we complete our check-out procedures.
