1st Day – Istanbul – Rome – Civitavecchia After meeting at Istanbul New Airport 4 hours before departure, we complete our check-in procedures and take our flight to Rome. Upon landing in Rome, we are transferred to Civitavecchia port for check-in on the 5* Costa Toscana. 2nd Day – Genoa | Portofino Tour After breakfast, guests who wish may join the Portofino tour organized as an extra by the cruise ship. We will take a dreamlike trip to PORTOFINO, a village so famous that songs have been written about it. Our bus departing from Genoa will first go to the town of Santa Maria Liguria. From there, we will take local transport to Portofino. We will have the opportunity to get to know this beautiful town more closely. In this approximately 5-hour excursion, we will see unforgettable places. At the end of our tour, we return to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 3rd Day – Marseille | Aix-En-Provence & Marseille City Tour After breakfast on the ship, guests who wish may join our extra Aix-En-Provence & Marseille Tour organized by the cruise ship. We begin our tour with a 10-minute walk from Marseille port. After an approximately 40-minute drive by bus, we will head to AIX-EN-PROVENCE, one of the most elegant cities in Southern France and an area that inspired many writers such as Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola. In this region famous for its lavender fields, we will visit a city full of beautiful buildings, flower-filled balconies, fountains that are works of art, and history around every corner. After Aix-en-Provence, we return to Marseille and begin our city tour. During the tour, we pass through the old port and visit Notre Dame De La Garde Church, one of the city’s most important historical sites, located on a high hill. Palais Longchamp is the second stop on our tour. During our visit to this structure, which serves as the Fine Arts Museum, we stop for photos and visit its gardens and fountains from the outside. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 4th Day – Barcelona | Barcelona City Tour After breakfast, guests who wish may join the Barcelona city tour organized as an extra by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. Among the places we will see are La Rambla Street, the Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum artificial harbor, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic district and port, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gracia, turned into a street museum by Gaudí’s houses, and the Sagrada Familia, his most fundamental work. During our tour, we will go up Montjuïc hill and take panoramic photos. After free time for shopping on La Rambla, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 5th Day – Cruising The entire day will be spent cruising. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet restaurant, which offers a variety of dishes freshly prepared by expert chefs to suit every taste, or at the A La Carte restaurant at your specially reserved seat. During the day, you can benefit from yoga and fitness classes, as well as open-air tennis, volleyball, and basketball, or the state-of-the-art Technogym-equipped fitness center, which also includes bodybuilding equipment. After dinner, if you wish, you can spend time in the ship’s colorful and lively bars and cafés listening to live music, attend Broadway-style musical theater shows, or try your luck at the casino. With our private vehicle at the port, we head toward Danilova, where Sardinia’s famous wines are produced. Along the way, we will visit San Pantaleo Church, dating back to the 13th century. Then we will visit a local wine cellar in the region and learn in detail about the wine-making process. Guests who wish may taste the wines. At the end of our tour, we return to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 7th Day – Naples | Pompei & Naples City Tour After breakfast on the ship, guests who wish may join the Pompei & Naples City Tour organized as an extra by the cruise ship. Naples, the famous port of the Campania Region, is one of the few European cities that never completely disappeared from antiquity. Founded by the Greeks and expanded by the Romans, over the centuries it became the most valuable treasure for foreign invaders. The continuation of this history into the present day is a noisy, high-crime, somewhat shabby, somewhat complex but definitely worth-seeing metropolis. On this tour, while walking among the human and house remains in Pompeii, buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, you will experience the incredible destruction nature can inflict and its power. Later, we stop in Naples and, after a panoramic bus tour, see the Royal Square. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board. 8th Day – Civitavecchia – Rome – Istanbul After breakfast on the ship, we complete our disembarkation procedures.
