1st Day – Istanbul – Rome - Civitavecchia
We meet at Istanbul New Airport 4 hours before departure and complete our check-in procedures, then take our flight to Rome (FCO) Airport. After landing, we transfer to our ship.
2nd Day – Savona | Portofino & Genoa Tour
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the Portofino & Genoa Tour organized as an extra by our guide. Genoa, the capital of the Liguria Region, certainly deserves much more than its current popularity. The city is the birthplace of pesto sauce and Christopher Columbus, and also the driving force behind Italian football. Thanks to its rich art, music, gastronomy, architecture, and historical features, it was named the European Capital of Culture in 2004. This historic city, inherited from the Genoese, will surely surprise you. After strolling through magnificent mansions, streets, squares, and historical sites, we continue by bus to Santa Margherita Ligure. From there, we take boats to Portofino. We will have free time in Portofino. Guests who wish may climb up to St. George’s Church and enjoy the magnificent view of Portofino, while others may have a drink and shop in Portofino’s dazzling natural harbor. We will have time for shopping. After the tour, we head back to our ship.
3rd Day – Marseille | Aix-En-Provence & Marseille City Tour
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the Aix-En-Provence & Marseille Tour organized as an extra by the ship. We start our tour with a 10-minute walk from the port of Marseille. After approximately a 40-minute drive by bus, we will head to Aix-en-Provence, one of the chicest cities in Southern France and a source of inspiration for many writers such as Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola. In this region, famous for its lavender fields, we will visit the city filled with beautiful buildings, flowered balconies, fountains that are each a work of art, and streets steeped in history. After Aix-en-Provence, we return to Marseille and begin our city tour. During the tour, we pass through the old port and visit Notre Dame de la Garde Church, one of the city’s most prominent historical sites, located on a high hill. Palais Longchamp is the second stop of our tour. During our visit to this building, which serves as the Museum of Fine Arts, we will visit its gardens and fountains from the outside and take a photo break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day – Barcelona | Barcelona City Tour
After breakfast, our guests who wish may join the Barcelona city tour organized as an extra by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Harbor, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and harbor, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gracia—the street-museum created by Gaudí’s houses—and his most iconic work, Sagrada Familia, are among the places we will see. During the tour, we will go up Montjuïc Hill and take panoramic photos. After free time for shopping on La Rambla, we will return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
5th Day – Palma de Mallorca | Valldemossa & Palma de Mallorca
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the Valldemossa & Palma de Mallorca tour organized as an extra by our guide. We begin by exploring Palma de Mallorca, a tourism paradise with a population of 300,000. Places to see include Bellver Castle from the 14th century, the famous Palma Cathedral from the 13th century, and the Almudaina Palace next to it, which we will view from the outside. Then we will go to the historic bullring, and with those who wish, we will visit one of Mallorca’s famous pearl workshops. Our next stop on the tour will be Valldemossa, a magnificent village in the southwest of the island. We will get to know the region and take plenty of photos. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
6th Day – Cruising at Sea
We will spend the entire day cruising at sea. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the open-buffet restaurant, which offers a variety of fresh dishes prepared by expert chefs to suit every taste, or at your specially reserved table in the à la carte restaurant. During the day, in addition to yoga and fitness classes, you can make use of the state-of-the-art Technogym-equipped fitness center, as well as outdoor tennis, volleyball, basketball, or bodybuilding equipment. After dinner, you may spend time in the ship’s colorful and entertaining bars and cafés listening to live music, attend Broadway-style musical theater performances, or try your luck at the casino. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day – Palermo | Cefalù & Palermo Tour
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the Cefalù Tour organized as an extra by our guide. We head to Cefalù, the famous fishing town and Sicily’s most popular holiday resort, with its magical past and colorful landscape blending sea and sky. Located east of Palermo and on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Cefalù is one of Sicily’s most important tourist centers with its narrow medieval streets, houses, turquoise sea, and long sandy beach. As a typical fishing town, Cefalù’s famous 12th-century cathedral and the historic laundry from Roman times are among the most interesting places to see. After returning from Cefalù, we will have time to see Palermo, a city known from films as the center of the Sicilian mafia. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
8th Day – Rome (FCO) – Istanbul (IST)
After breakfast on board, we will transfer to Rome (FCO) Airport.
