1st Day: Istanbul-Naples – Rome Meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal at 04:00. Depart for Naples at 07:10 on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1453. Upon arrival at 08:30, we will set off with our private coach to begin our city tour. Get ready to discover Naples, the pearl of the Mediterranean! With its colorful streets, historic squares, unique cuisine, and captivating views, we will enjoy a panoramic city tour with our guide in this historic port city built on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. We will have the opportunity to see important landmarks from the outside such as Castel Nuovo Castle, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Galleria Umberto, and Spaccanapoli. During free time, you may taste Naples’ famous street food and take a lunch break in the city where Italian pizza was born. Guests who wish may join the optional Pompeii Ancient City Tour. After the tour, we continue to Rome. Upon arrival, during our tour in this beautiful city, the capital of world history and Italy, we will discover Rome’s most important historical sites panoramically. Our first stop is the Colosseum and the adjacent Arch of Constantine. Then we enjoy a view of the Roman Forum and the panoramic city view from Capitoline Hill. We see the “Mouth of Truth” statue at Piazza della Bocca della Verità, pass by the ancient Teatro Marcello, and reach the banks of the Tiber River. Our tour ends with a view of Castel Sant’Angelo adorning the river. After the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Angels & Demons Tour. Transfer to our hotel and check-in. Overnight in Rome. Destroyed suddenly by the lava of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and rediscovered centuries later, it is an ancient Roman city. On this tour, accompanied by a licensed local guide, you will walk through stone streets and closely observe the traces of Roman life; with baths, houses, frescoes, shops, and mosaics, you will feel daily life firsthand. Optional Tour: Angels & Demons & Vatican Tour – Per Person: 40 Euro On our Angels and Demons tour, the most important squares, monuments, and religious buildings reflecting the spirit of Rome await us. Our first stop is Piazza della Repubblica, one of the liveliest points in Rome. Then we visit Piazza Venezia, the administrative and historical center of the city, and see the magnificent Vittorio Emanuele II Monument panoramically. We take a short photo break in Piazza Navona, one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture, in front of Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers. Our next stop is the ancient Pantheon, dazzling with its architecture. Then we arrive at the Trevi Fountain, the symbol of Rome, and perform the traditional wish ritual. Our walk continues to the Spanish Steps, one of Rome’s most romantic spots, and Piazza del Popolo, considered the city’s northern gate. In the final part of our walk, we proceed to the Vatican, the center of the Christian world, and see the magnificent St. Peter’s Square surrounded by Bernini’s colonnades. Then, accompanied by our guide, we enter St. Peter’s Basilica. You will have the opportunity to individually explore the magnificent dome designed by Michelangelo, the Pietà sculpture, and the unique works of art inside the basilica. No guided explanation will be given inside; the visit will take place in personal sightseeing format. This walk through Rome’s atmosphere intertwined with history, art, and faith will offer an unforgettable experience. 2nd Day: Rome After breakfast, free time. It also played a pioneering role throughout history in banking, textiles, and the arts, and at one time served as the capital of the Kingdom of Italy. It is undoubtedly the lifeblood of Italy’s economy and one of Italy’s must-see cities. During our Milan city tour, we will see the historic Castello Sforzesco, the Galleria—one of the first covered shopping arcades in Europe and a landmark of the 19th-century industrial revolution. The famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel is said to have been inspired by it in the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Duomo, where Gothic art can be seen intensely, is the world’s fourth-largest church with more than 2,000 statues on its facade. On the fashion center streets of Via Monte Napoleone and Via la Spiga, you can admire the richness of the shop windows. On this tour, we will reach Como town, take a short walk accompanied by our guide, and then give guests free time for shopping and sightseeing. 5th Day: Milan – Venice After breakfast, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona Tour en route. After the tour, we proceed to Venice. From Tronchetto harbor, the last vehicle-accessible point, we head to the historic island by vaporetto. After a pleasant vaporetto ride, we disembark near St. Mark’s Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour through the canals. In this city, which is free of motor vehicles, all the vehicles we are accustomed to seeing in daily life such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, and municipal buses are replaced by boats. As we walk from the waterfront to St. Mark’s Square, you will see the Venice Prison and the Bridge of Sighs connecting the prison and the Doge’s Palace, San Giorgio Island directly opposite the bridge, the twin columns on the main facade of the Doge’s Palace considered the city’s entrance gate, and the statues symbolizing Venice atop these columns. After the tour, we depart on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1064 at 20:15 to Istanbul. After a comfortable flight, we arrive at Istanbul Airport at 00:05 and our tour ends.
