At Piazza della Bocca della Verità, we see the “Mouth of Truth” sculpture, pass by Teatro Marcello from the ancient era, and reach the banks of the Tiber River. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we disembark near St. Mark’s Square, the city’s historical center, and begin our tour among the canals. In this city, which is free of motor vehicles, all the vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, and municipal buses are replaced by boats.
