DAY 1: ISTANBUL – MELBOURNE Meeting at 14:00 at the Tourizm desk in the International Departure Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After ticket and baggage procedures, depart for Melbourne on Turkish Airlines flight TK 168 at 17:15. Overnight on board. DAY 2: ARRIVAL IN MELBOURNE Arrival at Melbourne Airport at 21:00 local time. After passport and customs procedures, transfer to our hotel by private vehicle. Accommodation: Mercure Welcome Melbourne 4* DAY 3: MELBOURNE CITY TOUR & FREE TIME After breakfast, we set out to get to know Melbourne, the cultural capital of Australia. St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Captain Cook’s House, Parliament House, and Federation Square are among the sights to be seen. In the afternoon, we offer free time for our guests to explore the city on their own. Accommodation: Mercure Welcome Melbourne 4* DAY 4: PUFFING BILLY & PHILLIP ISLAND (PENGUIN PARADE) We begin the day with a nostalgic adventure. We travel through the rainforests on the Puffing Billy steam train, which has been running for more than 100 years in the Dandenong Ranges. In the late afternoon, we head to Phillip Island and witness the enchanting “Penguin Parade,” where the world’s smallest penguins emerge from the ocean and walk back to their nests. Accommodation: Mercure Welcome Melbourne 4* DAY 5: GREAT OCEAN ROAD On our Great Ocean Road tour, considered one of the world’s most beautiful coastal drives, we visit the giant “Twelve Apostles,” formed by the erosion of limestone by the rough ocean waves, and Loch Ard Gorge. Upon arrival, we explore the historical texture, colonial architecture, and famous harbor district of the capital, Hobart. Accommodation: ibis Styles Hobart 4* DAY 7: TASMANIAN DEVIL & PORT ARTHUR At Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, we get a close look at the Tasmanian devil, koalas, and kangaroos. Then we visit Port Arthur, one of Australia’s most impressive historical settlements and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed former penal complex. Accommodation: ibis Styles Hobart 4* DAY 8: HOBART – SYDNEY & EVENING DINNER YACHT TOUR We fly to Sydney. After checking in to the hotel, in the evening we enjoy a Harbour Dinner Cruise on our private yacht, where we admire the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge from the water amid the enchanting lights of Sydney Harbor. Accommodation: Holiday Inn Darling Harbour 4* DAY 9: SYDNEY OPERA & CITY TOUR & BONDI BEACH Our stops include the iconic Sydney Opera House, the historic Rocks district, and the world-famous Bondi Beach, the haunt of surfers. We witness the dynamic life of the city. Accommodation: Holiday Inn Darling Harbour 4* DAY 10: BLUE MOUNTAINS & FEATHERDALE In the Blue Mountains, we see the “Three Sisters” rock formation and vast canyons. On the way back, we spend time with Australia’s native wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Accommodation: Holiday Inn Darling Harbour 4* DAY 11: SYDNEY – AUCKLAND [NEW ZEALAND] We cross the Tasman Sea and fly to Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. After a panoramic exploration of Auckland, the “City of Sails,” we check in to our hotel. Accommodation: The Grand Millennium Auckland 4* DAY 12: AUCKLAND – HOBBITON – ROTORUA Today we go to Middle-earth! We visit the Hobbiton Movie Set, where The Lord of the Rings was filmed, and take a magical walk among the hobbit holes. Then we continue to Rotorua, the geothermal capital. Accommodation: Distinction Hotel Rotorua 4* DAY 13: ROTORUA (GEYSERS & MAORI CULTURE) At Te Puia, we see erupting geysers and mud pools. In the evening, accompanied by a traditional Haka dance performance, we dive into the heart of the culture with a local Maori dinner (Hangi) cooked in underground ovens. Accommodation: Distinction Hotel Rotorua 4* DAY 14: ROTORUA – WAITOMO – AUCKLAND At Waitomo Glowworm Caves, one of the world’s most unusual caves, we admire thousands of living lights shining like stars on the ceiling while riding a boat. After the tour, we return to Auckland. Accommodation: The Grand Millennium Auckland 4* DAY 15: FREE TIME IN AUCKLAND We offer a full day of free time in Auckland for personal discoveries, harbor excursions, or shopping. As the tour nears its finale, we check in to the hotel in Sydney once more and have free time. Then transfer to the airport and departure at 21:45 with Turkish Airlines for the return journey. Overnight on board.
