In such a case, the cancellation information will be conveyed to the guest. The entire tour fee will be refunded to the guest. Regarding refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour; domestic connecting flights purchased from DGNTRAVEL will also be refunded to the guest. If a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using the visa service and travel health insurance, these services cannot be refunded since they will have been used. If no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be cancelled and the fee will be refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independent of DGNTRAVEL, the guest cannot request any refund from DGNTRAVEL if the trip is cancelled by DGNTRAVEL. The guest accepts in advance, at the time of purchasing the tour, any financial and non-financial losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and DGNTRAVEL cannot be held responsible.

- If sufficient participation cannot be secured for the trip, DGNTRAVEL reserves the right not to cancel the tour as a gesture of goodwill. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the guiding service included in the package will cover only the international round-trip airport transfer.

Cancellation and Changes

- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, provided that they notify DGNTRAVEL in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding flight tickets for which payment has been made and/or commitments have been undertaken by DGNTRAVEL to the airline. If fewer than 31 days remain until the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee after deducting the flight ticket cost. If 15 days or less remain until the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. In the event of a cancellation request, prior information must be obtained regarding refunds for additional services such as domestic connecting flights, visa services and travel health insurance, as their cancellation and refund conditions may vary according to the period in which the cancellation is requested. DGNTRAVEL cannot make any commitment regarding the cancellation and refund of additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and archaeological sites at the destinations are open or closed and on weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of cities and conducted panoramically with the guide’s narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site admissions. DGNTRAVEL is not responsible if panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visits to or entry into the relevant places on the corresponding day and time, roads are closed due to any event, or the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, within the available means, in locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.

- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours, while adhering to the content of our tours, depending on the number of participants and whether museums and archaeological sites are closed. This also applies in the event of changes to flight times.

- Matters to be considered on our tours conducted by speedboats: heavy meals should not be eaten immediately before boarding the boat, and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed. Guests with stomach, lower back or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their condition.

- There is no refund if the tours or meal services specified under the services included in the prices are not attended.

Regarding Flights

- DGNTRAVEL is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger, and in possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, will apply.

- Scheduled and charter flights may be delayed or their flight times may change. DGNTRAVEL is obliged to notify guests of these changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchased the trip by accepting the risk of a change or cancellation of the flight time.

- Children between 0 and 2 years of age pay only the airport tax.

- In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip flight ticket is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline.

- For persons participating in tours involving flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal procedures and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the airport, at the relevant airline counters, or online through the airlines’ websites.

- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on the information boards in the terminal. Guests must personally follow this information.

- DGNTRAVEL is not responsible if guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the aircraft are unable to take the flight. All costs arising in connection with obtaining the new round-trip flight tickets required for guests who miss the flight to join the tour, transfers in the destination region and similar matters are the guests’ responsibility.

- The standard baggage allowance for most flights departing from Türkiye is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of DGNTRAVEL.

- For our guests who wish to upgrade their flight tickets using miles (to business or first class); after the tickets have been issued, the upgrade may be carried out depending on the airline’s availability (please check the airline with which you hold membership). Miles are not guaranteed for every flight. Please check whether the program’s tickets belong to an upgradeable class.

- On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to an additional fee.

Other Matters

- DGNTRAVEL will not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation made by the guest by contacting the hotel directly. In such a case, DGNTRAVEL’s cancellation conditions will apply.

- In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying the hotel name(s) and/or alternatives are offered for the same destination, DGNTRAVEL will notify the guest 48 hours before the trip departure.

- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified locations or kilometers. In such a case, DGNTRAVEL will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.

- During registration for the purchased tour, the guest must correctly enter/provide the name appearing on the passport, date of birth and passport number in the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

- To use your mobile phones abroad, check with the company to which your line belongs before leaving Türkiye to determine whether your phone is enabled for international use.

- The hotel check-in time for accommodation is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.

- DGNTRAVEL conveys requests regarding rooms (high floor, proximity to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. Efforts are made to ensure that the reserved rooms match the guest’s preferences, subject to the hotel’s availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of hotel check-in and cannot be guaranteed by DGNTRAVEL.

- Breakfast served at hotels differs from the rich breakfast customary in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group for groups.

- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of a twin-bedded room. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be joined when necessary.

- The child and extra bed policy may vary according to each hotel and room type.

- Any extra bed and baby cot are provided upon request and subject to the hotel’s availability, and must be approved by the hotel.

- The maximum capacity for an extra bed or baby cot in a room is one.

- Extra beds are provided in triple rooms; in these types of rooms, the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed and one extra bed. Extra beds consist of beds referred to as folding beds and coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type resulting from extra beds added to standard rooms in their triple-room and/or reservations with children.

- If the number of children staying with adults and the children’s ages stated in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the children’s ages.

- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child. Child prices are valid only when the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply to one child in the age group eligible to stay with two adults.

- Changes in the exchange rate during the day are reflected in TL prices. The exchange rates applicable at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests and certain extra services received at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to additional charges by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism or local taxes. All city, tourism or other taxes applied in this manner are collected from the guest by the hotel upon arrival or departure.

- Road distances provided in the programs are map-based. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country being visited, roadworks and road conditions.

- DGNTRAVEL may change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be used for flights without disrupting the content of the program in compulsory situations or when deemed necessary.

- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases and passports/identity documents of persons participating in the tour are their own responsibility, and DGNTRAVEL is not responsible for forgotten, lost or stolen items. Any expenses incurred in delivering forgotten items to the country and/or person when they are found are the responsibility of the owner of the items.

- Persons participating in the tour must carry their travel health insurance policies and any relevant medication and medical reports if they have health problems.

- For possible extra expenses, the hotel may request, upon check-in, a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit. The refund of the deposit requested at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and DGNTRAVEL has no involvement.

Visa and Passport

- There is no visa requirement for citizens of the Republic of Türkiye.

- Our guests’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip.

- At customs crossings/border gates, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages for entry and exit stamps to be affixed.

- Being exempt from a visa to enter the countries on this tour does not mean that entry into or exit from the country is guaranteed. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse to allow you to enter or leave the country. DGNTRAVEL is not responsible for this; responsibility lies with the passenger.

- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who hold dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using the passport of the other country must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedure applied by the country of travel to the passport they will use. Otherwise, DGNTRAVEL will not be responsible for any consequences arising.

- Passports must be renewed to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to passports that are torn, worn, wet and/or have suffered similar damage(s). Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

- Since, when guests under the age of 18 travel alone or with only one of their mother or father, the police officer on duty may request a document showing the joint consent of the parents at the country’s entry and exit points, we recommend that our guests under 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.
