Guiding Services and Optional Tours
- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and archaeological sites at the destinations are open or closed and on weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of cities and conducted panoramically with the guide’s narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entrances. DGNTRAVEL shall not be responsible if panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering the relevant locations on the corresponding day and time, roads are closed due to any event, or weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, in locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours, while adhering to the content of our tours, depending on the number of participants and whether museums and archaeological sites are closed. This also applies in the event of changes to flight times.
- Important points to consider for our tours conducted by speedboats: do not eat a heavy meal immediately before boarding the boat and do not drink excessive amounts of water. Guests with stomach, back, or neck problems, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their condition.
- No refund will be made if guests do not participate in the tours or meal services specified as included in the prices.
Regarding Flights
- DGNTRAVEL acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger. In the event of possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, shall apply.
- Delays or changes to flight times may occur on scheduled and charter flights. DGNTRAVEL is obliged to notify guests of such changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip by accepting the risk of a change or cancellation of the flight time.
- Children between 0 and 2 years of age pay only the airport tax.
- In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip airline ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
- Check-in and boarding procedures required for persons participating in tours with flights are personal procedures and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the airport counters of the relevant airline or online through the airline’s websites.
- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur during flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on the information boards in the airport. Guests must personally monitor this information.
- DGNTRAVEL is not responsible if guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified in accordance with airline rules, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete these procedures on time but do not board the aircraft are unable to take the flight. Guests who miss the flight shall be responsible for all expenses incurred for obtaining the new round-trip airline tickets and transfers in the destination region, etc., required for them to join the tour.
- The standard baggage allowance for most flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights within the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of DGNTRAVEL.
- For guests who wish to upgrade their airline tickets using miles (to business or first class); after the tickets have been issued, the upgrade may be carried out subject to the availability of the airline (please check the airline with which you hold membership). Mileage availability is not guaranteed for every flight. Please check whether the tickets for the program belong to an upgradeable class.
- On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to an additional fee.

- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, DGNTRAVEL will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.
- During registration for the purchased tour, the guest must correctly enter/provide the name appearing on the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to airline tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
- To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey, contact the company to which your line belongs and check whether your phone is enabled for international use.

- DGNTRAVEL forwards requests regarding rooms (high floor, proximity to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. Efforts are made to ensure that the reserved rooms meet the guest’s preferences, subject to hotel availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at check-in and cannot be guaranteed by DGNTRAVEL.
- The breakfast served at hotels differs from the customary rich breakfast in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.
- In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of a twin-bedded room. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be joined together when necessary.

- Extra beds are provided in triple rooms; in these types of rooms, the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of beds known as foldable beds and coach beds. Guests who make reservations for triple rooms and/or with children are deemed to have declared that they accept any cramped conditions and the bed type that may arise in the rooms due to the extra beds added to standard rooms.
- If the number of children staying with adults and the children’s ages specified in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such cases, responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the children’s ages.
- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child. Child prices are valid only when the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply to one child in the applicable age group staying with two adults.

These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes applied in this manner are collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or departure.
- The road distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the destination country, roadworks, and road conditions.
