Day 1 Istanbul – Amsterdam

We will meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport three hours before our flight to complete our ticket and baggage procedures. Our flight with Pegasus Airlines to Amsterdam will take approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. After arriving in Amsterdam, we will set out to explore the city. Famous for its historical and cultural richness, canals, museums, and vibrant atmosphere, Amsterdam is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe, also standing out among other European capitals for its libertarian lifestyle. The youthful city is filled throughout the year with various events, festivals, and concerts, as well as galleries, museums, and exhibitions showcasing classical and modern art. During our Amsterdam tour, we will visit sites including the most popular square in the city, Damrak, the Royal Palace, which is one of the official residences of the Dutch royal family, and the Oude Kerk (Old Church), the oldest church in Amsterdam. After free time for shopping and dining, we will head to our hotel in the evening and have free time to rest.

Day 2 Amsterdam (Marken & Volendam - Zaanse Schans)

After breakfast, there will be free time. Guests who wish can join the optional excursion to Marken & Volendam - Zaanse Schans (75€) organized by our guide. While exploring Marken and Volendam, where we can best observe the traditional lifestyle of the Netherlands, you will be impressed by its nature and the series of colorful houses. Previously dependent on fishing, the residents of Marken changed their lifestyle after the island became a tourist destination and connected to the mainland with a bridge, leading to a rise in the production of handicrafts and traditional clothing. The houses built on stilts to prevent flooding are still preserved today. We will reach Volendam, which is much larger than Marken, via a short journey across a bridge. Along the way, we will visit a cheese maker's workshop in an area where you can find various cheese producers and tasting workshops, and learn about cheese production. After a short free time for shopping, we will move towards Volendam. In this beautiful town, where famous artists like Picasso and Renoir stayed briefly in the 20th century, you can see many locals dressed in traditional attire. While exploring the town, you will see historical fishermen’s houses, museums, and shops where handicrafts are made. You will have time for lunch in Volendam, which is also renowned for its traditional cuisine. After visiting these two lovely villages, we will continue our excursion to the Zaanse Schans Theme Park, where we will spend half a day. This open-air museum in Zaandam reflects the rural life and industrial activities of the 18th and 19th centuries. The area, famous for its working windmills, showcases traditional architecture with wooden houses, workshops, and warehouses, presenting visitors with a glimpse into the past of the Netherlands. After free time in this charming town, we will return to Amsterdam and have free time for dinner before meeting at the time specified by our guide to head to our hotel and have free time to rest.

Day 3 Brussels (Brugge)

After breakfast, we will complete our check-out procedures from the hotel and head to Brussels. Guests who wish can join the optional Brugge tour (40€) organized by our guide. After our journey, we will reach Brugge, often referred to as the Venice of the North. With its historical structure, well-preserved Medieval architecture, narrow streets, colorful façades of historical buildings, canals, and significant landmarks, the city, which is under UNESCO protection, offers visitors a journey through time. Brugge, with its parks and nature, is also captivating with its romantic atmosphere. During our walking city tour, we will visit places including Grote Markt, the City Hall known for its Gothic architecture, the Belfort Bell Tower, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, and the Minnewater (Lake of Love), which has the most beautiful view in the city. During the free time given to explore the city, you can enjoy the charming cafes and have lunch at local restaurants. Afterwards, we will arrive in Brussels. Known as one of the centers of international diplomacy and also the capital of the European Union, Brussels successfully preserves its medieval heritage, while also developing as a modern metropolis. During our city tour in Brussels, we will visit places such as the Royal Palace, Grand Place (the city square), St. Michael, the Stock Exchange Building, and the symbol of Brussels, the Mannequin Pis statue (the urinating boy statue). After the tour, you will have free time to explore the city. In the evening, we will head to our hotel and after completing the room check-in, we will have free time to rest.

Day 4 Luxembourg (Trier)

After breakfast, we will set out for Luxembourg in the morning. Guests who wish can join the optional Trier tour (40€) organized by our guide. Located on the banks of the Rhine River in southwestern Germany, Trier is one of the oldest cities in the country. Known as Augusta Treverorum during the Roman Empire, Trier is a fascinating city with its rich history and architecture. The history of Trier dates back to the Roman period, and the city was founded by the Romans in the 1st century BC. Therefore, many remains and structures from the ancient Roman era are still visitable today, including the Porta Nigra (Black Gate), Kaiserthermen (Imperial Thermal Buildings), and the Roman Bridge (Römerbrücke), which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After our visit here, we will move towards Luxembourg. Situated at the heart of Europe with its strategic location, Luxembourg is one of the most developed countries in the world economically. Founded in 963, the city is located at the intersection of Roman and Germanic cultures, having been influenced by both civilizations. Following the London Agreement, the country, officially named the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, achieved its current borders, bearing the same name as its capital. In addition to its natural beauty, Luxembourg, which also has a historic texture, will charm visitors with sites including the old city of Casemates du Bock, which features historic walls and underground tunnels listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Place Guillaume, one of the main squares in the city, and the stunningly beautiful Chemin de la Corniche, known as Europe’s most beautiful balcony. During our free time in the old city, you will have the chance to find time for dinner. In the evening, we will leave the city and head to our hotel. After checking into our rooms, we will have free time to rest.

Day 5 Paris (Metz)

After breakfast, we will complete our check-out procedures from the rooms early in the morning and depart from our hotel towards Paris. Guests who wish can join the optional Metz tour (40€) organized by our guide. Metz, one of the oldest cities in France, has changed hands continuously throughout history due to the wars between France and Germany, showcasing the reflections of both cultures in its historical atmosphere as well as its magnificent nature. As one of the greenest cities in France, Metz boasts captivating nature with the Moselle and Seille rivers and lakes. Among the ancient structures that stand within Metz are the “Germans’ Gate”, built by German workers in the Medieval period on the Moselle River, the dazzling Gothic masterpiece Saint-Etienne Cathedral, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Place d’Armes Square, and the famous Metz Covered Market, as well as the city’s oldest opera and theater building. After our visit here, we will head towards Paris. Upon arrival, we will begin exploring Paris, one of the world’s most significant metropolises, where you can see traces of its history in every corner. When it comes to romance, Paris undoubtedly owes this quality to the neoclassical-style architecture that shapes the entire city. Paris, adorned by Haussmann buildings from its broad avenues to its side streets, welcomes visitors as if they are in an open-air museum, offering a wide range of experiences from art and culture to fashion and gastronomy. Our first stop on our Paris city tour will be Champs Elysees, the most famous street when it comes to shopping. After free time for meals and shopping, we will gather at the time specified by our guide to head to our hotel for accommodation, followed by free time to rest.

Day 6 Paris (Eiffel Tower - Seine River)

After breakfast, you will have the whole day free. Guests who wish can join the optional Eiffel Tower - Seine River tour (90€) organized by our guide. Afterwards, we will have a boat tour on the Seine River, a delightful experience where you will see Paris’s iconic structures. During our river tour, you will see panoramic views of notable sites such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, Alexandre III Bridge, Orsay Museum, and Institut de France. During this enjoyable time spent on the river, you will have the opportunity to view the city from a different angle, and by spending time on this famous river, you will experience a great travel experience. After our river trip, we will ascend to the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower, where you can enjoy its magnificent view of Paris. Designed for the 1889 Paris World Fair, the tower has become a symbol of Paris and one of the most magnificent structures in the world over time. It still hosts millions of visitors from around the globe and remains one of the best-known tourist spots. After our visit, we will head to our hotel. Following our tour, there will be a visit to a perfume shop for tax-free, affordable, and quality perfumes. During this time, you will have the opportunity to shop, and after providing free time for shopping and dinner on Champs Elysee, we will return to our hotel and have free time to rest.

Day 7 Paris (Montmartre - Notre Dame Cathedral – Luxembourg Gardens – Louvre Area)

After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Montmartre (Artists' Hill), Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg Gardens, and Louvre Area tour (50€) organized by our guide. The first stop will be Montmartre, located in the northern part of Paris and known for its artistic and bohemian vibe. We will first see the lively nightlife and colorful atmosphere of the world-famous cabaret show Moulin Rouge in the Pigalle area. Taking the funicular, we will arrive at Artists' Hill, where the Sacre Coeur Basilica will greet us. Once the center of religious life, the Sacre Coeur Basilica was built in 1875 to symbolize the spiritual renewal of France and was only opened for worship after World War I. Following its sacred transformation, Montmartre became an art center and hosted many great artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, and Emile Zola. You will enjoy strolling through its bohemian streets filled with art galleries. You will have free time to explore the Artists' Hill and have lunch. We will continue our tour to Notre Dame Cathedral. This Gothic masterpiece, rises on the banks of the Seine River in the historical center of Paris. The cathedral’s magnificent stained glass windows, intricate details, and famous bell towers will enchant you. Next, we move on to Luxembourg Gardens. This enchanting park is located right next to the French Senate and is famous for its elegant gardens dating back to the 17th century. You can enjoy a pleasant walk among the lakes, flower beds, and sculptures in this park, where the romance of the old world meets the modern life of Paris. Finally, we will head to the Louvre Area. The Louvre is one of the largest art museums in the world and houses world-famous works like the Mona Lisa. The museum's mesmerizing pyramid and the hidden art treasures within make it a true paradise for art lovers. After our tour, we will head back to our hotel. Guests who wish can join the optional Paris Night Tour (25€) organized by our guide.

Day 8 Paris – Istanbul

After breakfast, we will complete our check-out procedures from the rooms and depart from our hotel. After the free time specified by our guide, we will head towards the airport at the designated time. We will complete our ticket and baggage procedures and fly back to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with the designated flight of Pegasus Airlines. With our arrival at local time, our Benelux tour will come to an end.

IMPORTANT NOTES

 Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 30 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date will be 20 days before the tour departure. The canceled tour due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you via your agency.

 Extra tours organized as part of the tour program are arranged based on participation. There will be no transfer service between the hotel and the city center for guests who do not participate in these tours. Since the capacity of transfer vehicles is planned only according to the number of guests participating in the extra tours and notifications are made accordingly, this service is only available to participants of the extra tours.

 In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names and/or options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure.

 During periods of fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such cases, your agency will inform you 15 days before the departure date of the tour.

 Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and in these types of rooms, the bed allocated to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since the extra beds are foldable and referred to as coach beds, the tour participants indicate their acceptance of potential crowding and bed type issues in the rooms for the 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one child matching the age group who stays with two adults.

 Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, which includes butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.

 Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are maximum 2-3 hours long, conducted with guided narration from inside the vehicle, and do not include museum or site entrance fees. If the panoramic tours cannot be conducted due to local authority restrictions, closed roads due to any event, or if it becomes impossible to carry out the tour due to weather conditions, GlobDMC is not responsible. Some tours may be performed via public transport or on foot in locations where vehicle access is prohibited.

 When only category information is provided and/or alternative information is available for the same destination, you can learn about the hotel(s) you will be staying in 48 hours before the tour departure.

 Participants accept to pay any costs incurred during the tour, such as museum & site entry fees and city taxes, and any audio system fees, as mentioned in the program in advance, to the tour authority during the trip. Participants are informed fully and completely on this matter.

 In our promotional and early booking campaigns, guests cannot cancel or make changes.

 GlobDMC acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be delays on scheduled and charter flights, or flight times may change prior to the existing tour and flight. GlobDMC is obliged to inform these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 are exempt from airport taxes and fees.

VISA

 There is a visa requirement for Turkish Republic citizens. To apply for a visa, it is necessary to apply with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel completion along with the documents listed in our agency's "Required Documents for Visa" list.

 Guests traveling with a Turkish green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years old. Otherwise, they may not be accepted into the country they are visiting and/or their flights may not be operated by the airline. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the passenger.

 There is no visa requirement for holders of green passports; a passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip is sufficient.

 Having a visa does not guarantee entry into the country; border control has the authority to refuse entry. GlobDMC is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.

 To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, the mentioned passports should be renewed, and if it is a country that requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa should also be on the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger.

 Our guests under the age of 18 who are traveling alone or with only one parent may be asked by police officers for a document showing the joint consent of both parents upon entering and exiting the country. Therefore, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents pay attention to this issue.
