GENERAL TERMS 1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from it. 2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Wtatil can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The entire tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour, if the internal flight connection purchased from Wtatil is cancelled, it will also be refunded to the guest, but if the visa services have been used to apply for a visa on behalf of the guest, these services cannot be refunded as they have been utilized. If no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance can also be cancelled, and a refund will be made. If the guest has purchased their internal flight connection from a different provider independent of Wtatil, they cannot claim any refund from Wtatil in case the trip is cancelled by Wtatil. Guests accept in advance all potential material and moral losses due to the tour cancellation when purchasing the tour; Wtatil cannot be held responsible. 3- In the event that sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Wtatil has the right to show goodwill by not cancelling the tour. In this case, individual arrangement of the tour for the guest will be considered, and the included guiding services will only cover the inbound/outbound airport transfers. Cancellation and changes 4- In our Miami Tours, the tickets for flights from Istanbul to Miami and back are arranged at the time of booking. In the case of cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the ticket costs, which do not have the right of cancellation & change and refund, will be charged as a penalty. 5- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty if they notify Wtatil in writing 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding the plane tickets that Wtatil has paid to the airline and/or committed to purchase. If the time remaining until the start of the trip is less than 31 days, the guest can cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the plane ticket price, and if it is 15 days or less, they can cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. In case a cancellation request is made, it is necessary to inquire beforehand about the refund conditions for additional services such as internal flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance, as the refund conditions may vary based on the requested cancellation period. Wtatil cannot make any commitments regarding the refund of additional services. Guiding Services and Extra Tours 6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites at the places to be visited, as well as weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours. 7- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of cities and are conducted as panoramic tours with guide narration from within the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entries, and last for at most 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours are not the responsibility of Wtatil if they cannot be conducted due to local authorities prohibiting entry, closed routes due to any events, or impossibilities due to weather conditions. Some tours may have to be conducted by public transport or on foot at locations where vehicles cannot enter or on closed roads. 8- Our guide may make changes to the days of city tours and/or additional tours based on participant numbers and the closed status of museums and archaeological sites. This applies to changes that may occur in flight schedules as well. 9- Important considerations for tours conducted by Speed Boats include not eating heavy meals and not drinking a lot of water immediately before boarding. Guests with stomach, back, or neck problems and pregnant guests must inform their guides about their conditions. 10- There is no refund for non-participation in services such as specified tours or meals included in the prices. About Flights 11- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of potential disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, will apply. 12- Delays or changes in flight times may occur for scheduled and special flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times by purchasing the trip. 13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee. 14- According to airline regulations, if the outbound journey of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline. 15- Check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in flights are personal responsibilities, and these procedures must be carried out by the guests at the airports, at the respective airline counters, or online via the airline's websites before the flight. 16- Last-minute delays and gate changes will be announced audibly at the airports and displayed on information panels in the area. This information must be personally followed by the guests. 17- Wtatil is not responsible for guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times indicated by the airline in accordance with airline rules, who do not timely complete check-in and boarding procedures, or who complete these procedures on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets necessary for guests who miss their flight and the transfers needed in the destination area are their responsibility. 18- Generally, the luggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the country to which one is going. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this luggage weight may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil. 19- For guests who want to upgrade their plane tickets with miles (to business or first class), upgrade processes can be executed based on the availability of the airline after the tickets have been issued (please check with your membership airline). No mileage guarantee for each flight is given. Check if the tickets in the program are in upgradeable class. 20- Meals and online check-in services on some airlines may be subject to extra charges. Other Matters 21- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made directly by the guest in contact with the hotel. In this case, Wtatil's cancellation conditions will apply. 22- In cases where the names of hotels are not specified in the tour program, only category information is provided, and/or options are presented for the same destination, Wtatil will inform the guest 48 hours before the date of departure. 23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at locations further than the specified locations or kilometers. In such a case, Wtatil will provide information 15 days before the departure date. 24- At the time of registering for the purchased tour, the guest is required to correctly enter/declare their name as it appears on the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalty fees for flight ticket cancellations or changes due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests. 25- To be able to use mobile phones abroad, check beforehand with your service provider to ensure your phone is enabled for international use before leaving Turkey. 26- The hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM, and the check-out time is 12:00 PM. 27- Requests related to the room (high floor, close to public areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated by Wtatil to the hotel. Efforts will be made to ensure that the reserved rooms meet the guests' preferences according to the hotel's availability. Whether these requests are fulfilled depends on the availability at the time of checking into the hotel and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil. 28- The breakfast offered at hotels may differ from the rich breakfast traditionally found in Turkish cuisine. It is usually served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a dedicated separate room for group bookings. 29- In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of two single beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be combined when necessary. 30- The child and extra bed policy may vary from hotel to hotel depending on the type of rooms. 31- All additional beds and baby cribs are provided upon request and based on the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel. 32- The capacity for additional beds or baby cribs in the room is a maximum of 1 (one). 33- In triple rooms, there is an application for extra beds; the bed assigned to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of folding beds and are also known as couch beds. Our guests acknowledge that they accept the potential crowding and bed types due to additional beds in reservations for triple rooms and/or families with children. 34- If the number of children and their ages staying with adults in hotel reservations are reported incorrectly, the relevant hotels may charge extra fees. In this case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. Hotels may request identification for age verification of children. 35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child rates apply only when the child stays with two adults. Child discounts are valid only for an eligible "single child" staying with two adults. 36- Exchange rates during the day are reflected in TL prices. The valid rates are those at the time of payment. Additional requests, some extra services (mini-bar, ironing, etc.) to be received at the hotel are subject to extra charges. These costs are not included in the payment at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay. 37- Some countries have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local-level taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes currently applied will be collected from the guest by the hotel at the time of entry or exit. 38- The travel distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Depending on conditions such as traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the country being visited, road works, and conditions, travel times may be extended. 39- Wtatil can change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be flown without breaking the content of the program in essential situations or when deemed necessary. 40- Personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/identification of participants in the tour are under the individuals' own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are recovered, the costs of delivery to the country and/or individuals are the responsibility of the item owner. 41- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any relevant medications and reports concerning health issues with them. 42- For potential extra expenses, upon hotel check-in, the hotel may request a government-issued photo ID/passport and a credit card or cash deposit. The refund of the deposit requested upon check-out is a process between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no intervention. Visa and Passport 43- A visa application is required for T.C. citizens. 44- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the date of the travel end. 45- For customs crossings/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport to be stamped with entry-exit seals. 46- Being exempt from a visa for entry into the countries in this tour does not mean that entry/exit can be made; the immigration officer has the authority to deny entry/exit, and Wtatil is not responsible for this; the responsibility lies with the passenger. 47- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who hold dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using another country's passport must consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures of the country to which they will travel; otherwise, Wtatil will not be held responsible for any resulting issues. 48- To avoid any issues at the customs with the customs officer at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or damaged passports, it is necessary to renew the passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger. 49- Guests under the age of 18 who travel alone or with only one parent may be asked to present a document showing the mutual consent of both parents during entering-exiting the country; therefore, it is advised that guests under 18 and their parents be sensitive to this issue.
