Day 1: Ankara – Skopje - Matka Canyon - Tetovo – Ohrid

 

We will meet in front of the Ajet Airlines check-in counter at Ankara Airport International Departures Terminal. The journey begins with the 08:45 flight from Ankara to Skopje on Ajet Airlines flight number VF625. Arrival at Skopje Airport at 09:35 local time. After passport procedures, we meet with our guide and travel to the breathtaking Matka Canyon. After a nature walk, guests can enjoy free time for a canyon tour by the famous boats in the canyon. We then visit the Alaca Mosque in the city of Tetovo, known for its rare architecture in the Balkans, before traversing the Mavrovo Mountains to reach the Mediterranean-like town of Ohrid. Our tour of Ohrid starts at the port square, where we discuss the statues and take a walk in the neighborhood where historic Ohrid houses were filmed in the series Elveda Rumeli, showcasing historical Ottoman houses, the Church of St. Sophia, and ending with a presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, the biggest symbol of Ohrid. After the tour, we proceed to free time and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

 

           Day 2: Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Tirana – Shkodra

 

After breakfast, we first travel to St. Naum, accompanied by breathtaking views on a journey lasting about 1 hour. We will visit the spring of Ohrid Lake, where the magnificent scenery is breathtaking. After the tour, we head towards Tirana, crossing the Albanian border through Elbasan. This beautiful city, which has been caught in wars throughout the 20th century and had endured a dictatorial regime for 40 years under Enver Hoxha, was developed by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920. We will have a panoramic tour introducing this city, seeing landmarks such as the Ethem Bey Mosque, the historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Minister's Offices, the Presidential Palace, the statue of Mother Teresa, and Skanderbeg Square. After the tour of Tirana, we will have a short free time, followed by arrival at our accommodation point in the Shkodra region. Overnight at the hotel.

 

 

 

 

 

           Day 3: Shkodra – Budva – Kotor – Medjugorje

 

After breakfast at our hotel, we proceed to Montenegro, one of the youngest countries in the world. Our first stop is the magnificent St. Stefan, now a holiday resort for the elite, which was once a fishing village turned over to a multimillionaire from Singapore. We will stop for a panoramic view and then continue our journey along the stunning scenic roads of the Adriatic coast before getting a panoramic view of Budva. Our next stop is Kotor, an important historical and natural beauty tourist center. In Kotor, you will embark on a walking tour through Stari Grad (Old City-Castle) to discover this charming settlement. After our Kotor tour, we will move to the city where we will spend the night. Overnight in Medjugorje, Trebinje, or nearby.

 

           Day 4: Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo

 

After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards historic Mostar. Upon arrival in Mostar, we will see the Mostar Bridge (built in 1557 by architect Hayreddin, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed during the war in 1992 but was reopened in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will walk around the Old Town bazaar. After free time, we will head to Blagaj, the land of the Alperens. After our visits in Blagaj, we proceed to the capital, Sarajevo. We will take a break in Konjic to see the famous Ottoman bridge that has been restored by Turkey and enjoy coffee by the Neretva River.

After our break, we will arrive in Sarajevo. After transferring to our hotel, we will spend the night there.

 

          Day 5: Sarajevo – Vrelo Bosna – Belgrade

 

 

After breakfast, we visit Vrelo Bosne, located on the slopes of Mount Igman, which features the source of the Bosna River and is famous for its excellent walking trails, horse-drawn carriages, and authentic cafés. After spending some free time there, we will stroll through Baščaršija, which is Europe’s most certain extraordinary bazaar. Our tour of this cultural city will begin at the Saraybosna Sebil Fountain, which has become a symbol of the city. Next, we will see the Morica Han, a traditional place of hospitality. Then we will visit the Huseyin Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. During our tour, we will also see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain that has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, which also features the eternal flame monument. After that, we will have free time, during which guests may photograph the Latin Bridge, where World War I started. After our tour and free time, we will set off for Belgrade. After the journey, we will arrive in Belgrade, one of Europe’s oldest cities, symbolizing vibrancy and liveliness. We will stay overnight at our hotel in Belgrade.

 

 

 

 

 

 

         Day 6: Belgrade – Skopje

 

After breakfast at our hotel, we will start the Belgrade city tour. We begin our tour on the city’s most stylish street, Knez Mihailova Street. Next, we will visit the Belgrade Fortress, where Sultan Mehmed II was injured but whose conquest was achieved by Suleiman the Magnificent. We will see the Key Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the Sokullu Fountain, and the terrace offering the most beautiful view where the Sava and Danube rivers meet. After the tour, we will head to Skopje. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

        Day 7: Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje

 

After breakfast at our hotel, we start our city tour in Skopje. We will begin our tour of this city, where two different cultures are separated by the famous Vardar River, starting with the Macedonian side known as the land of statues. Our first sight will be the gigantic statue of Alexander the Great, followed by a walk across the Historic Skopje Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, witnessing how cultures can suddenly change as we proceed to the Turkish Bazaar, one of the Ottoman’s most qualified bazaars in the Balkans. Discussing the statues at the entrance, we will begin our tour of the historical Davut Paşa Hammam, followed by seeing the Kapan Han, one of the most important structures of the Ottoman Bazaar organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has managed to survive the earthquakes. After our visits, we will have an hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar, where we can buy Shushka peppers, Ustrumca peanuts, and chariks. After our visits, we will move to Kosovo, where the majority of the population are Muslim Albanians. This will be an emotionally loaded day in the lands where a human tragedy happened not long ago. We will first visit the tomb of Murad Hüdavendigar. Following our visit, we will take a short bus trip to Prizren. During our panoramic tour in Prizren, perhaps one of the sweetest cities in the Balkans, we will visit the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and the Prizren Fortress. After the completion of the tour and free time, we will return to Skopje. Overnight at the hotel.

 

 

          Day 8: Skopje – Ankara

 

After breakfast at our hotel, we will travel to Skopje Airport. After completing the ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will depart with Ajet Airlines flight number VF626 at 10:25 for Ankara. Arrival in Ankara at 13:10. We hope to see you on your next journey...

●   During the tour, it is sufficient to have Euros for shopping and expenses in all countries included in the program. The guide will assist with currency exchange in areas where local currency is used.
●   Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the trip. It is also advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
●   In our tours, a rotation (seat change) application is made daily in the seating plan, and fixed seats or front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
●   There is a 3-night accommodation requirement for bringing items (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) from abroad into Turkey.
●   The free shop shopping limit when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverage (excluding those containing more than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), 2 liters of alcoholic beverages (including those containing less than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 units, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.
●   Guides can make changes to the program flow as long as they show every place mentioned in the program, depending on the weather and road conditions.

●   Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days prior. In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty will be applied; a 100% penalty will be applied if it is less than 20 days. The documents such as hospital reports, work permit letters, etc., submitted with the cancellation request of the participant are not accepted for the cancellation of the hotel and services to be acquired outside of Turkey.
●   Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not provided for the trip, the last cancellation notification date will be 20 days before the tour departure. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by ADONIS.COM.
●   In cases where only the category information is provided without specifying the name in the tour program, and/or there are alternatives for the same destination, the hotels will be notified by ADONIS.COM 2 days prior to the trip.
●   During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located at a distance greater than the indicated km. In such a case, information will be provided by ADONIS.COM 15 days before the departure date of the tour.
●   Triple rooms can be allocated according to the availability of the hotels, and the bed assigned to the 3rd person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed. Since the additional beds consist of folding and couch beds, participants in triple and/or child reservations accept the possibility of tightness and bed type in the rooms. Child discounts are valid for the only child who meets the age group accompanying 2 adults.
●   The breakfasts at the hotel included in the tour are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited and are generally offered as a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall dedicated to the group.
●   The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are conducted with a maximum duration of 2-3 hours, excluding entrance to museums and sites. Panoramic tours, including other tours mentioned in the program, are not the responsibility of ADONIS.COM if they cannot be carried out due to local authority restrictions or closures of roads due to any event on the day and time of the tour, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted as group transport or on foot in areas where access to vehicles is restricted.
●   The waiting times at customs gates when crossing by road may exceed standard durations, and ADONIS.COM cannot be held responsible for any negative experiences arising from these waiting times.
●   Extra tours are organized by local ADONIS.COM with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not achieved, the tours cannot be conducted, or the extra tour prices, content, and the vehicles to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of the museums and sites to be visited and weather conditions.
●   Participation in extra tours is optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the trip agree to wait at a suitable rest facility along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the point they were dropped off after the completion of the tour.
●   For those participating in tours with flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal transactions and must be completed by the guest in advance at the relevant airline's counters at the airports or online on the airline companies' websites.
●   ADONIS.COM is not responsible for the inability of participants who are not present at the specified airport at the times indicated by ADONIS.COM, who fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane. Participants who miss their flights will be responsible for all expenses related to new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area.
