After our enjoyable walk here, we will reach the Macedonia-Kosovo border. After passport and customs procedures, we will arrive at Kosovo, Europe’s second newest country. First, we will visit Prizren, which carries many traces from the Ottoman period and makes you feel like you are in a small Anatolian town. During our walking tour here, we will see Sinan Pasha Mosque, the minaret of Arasta Mosque, the Ottoman bathhouse, the stone bridge, the Turkish consulate, and the fortress, which are just some of the places we will visit. During our tour in Mostar, we will visit the Mostar Bridge, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the Catholic Cathedral, the Turkish Consulate, and the memorial site for those who lost their lives. If we are lucky, we may also see the youths diving off the bridge for show, an act that dates back to earlier times. After free time, we will meet with our vehicle at the designated time and place and head to Pocitelj, a village that has maintained its Ottoman legacy until today. When you see the city of Kotor, situated at the foot of the mountain and nestled deep in the bay, you will find your mind and heart remain here. Upon arrival, we will embark on a city tour where we will see the important family mansions, Saint Tripun Church, the Orthodox Church, the squares, and some of the beautiful stories we will hear. During the free time here, if the season and weather allow, you can climb the staircase to the chapel on top of the walls for breathtaking photos, follow the aromas in the narrow streets to taste different and delicious dishes, or sip drinks in one of the squares, and don’t forget to ask your guide about where to find that exquisite cake if you have a sweet tooth! After free time, we will continue driving while seeing Budva from a panoramic perspective. Budva, known for being an ideal destination for a seaside holiday abroad, will soon lead us to view Sveti Stefan Island, which was purchased by a multi-billionaire from Singapore.
