GENERAL TERMS 1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program. 2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the tour, Wtatil may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour price will be refunded to the guest. Regarding the refund of additional services purchased outside the tour; the domestic connecting flight purchased from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest. If visa service and travel health insurance were used to apply for a visa on behalf of the guest, these services are considered used and therefore cannot be refunded. If a visa application has not been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be canceled and refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a provider independent of Wtatil, the guest cannot claim any refund from Wtatil in the event that the trip is canceled by Wtatil. The guest accepts in advance, at the time of purchasing the tour, any material or moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible. 3- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the tour, Wtatil has the right to not cancel the tour as a gesture of goodwill. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guiding service will cover only the airport transfer for the outbound and return international flights. Cancellations and Changes 4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty up to 30 days before the tour departure date, provided they notify Wtatil in writing, excluding flight tickets for which payment has been made to and/or committed to the airline by Wtatil. If there are 31 days or fewer remaining until the tour start date, cancellation is possible by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour price after deducting the flight ticket cost. If there are 15 days or fewer remaining until the tour start date, cancellation is possible by paying the full tour price as a penalty. In the event of a cancellation request, since the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the cancellation request period, prior information must be requested regarding refunds. Wtatil cannot make any commitment regarding cancellation refunds for additional services. Guiding Services and Optional Tours 5- The days and times of the tours stated in the program may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany guests during the tours. 6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for a general introduction of the cities, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include entrance fees to museums or historical sites, lasting at most 2-3 hours. If the panoramic tours, including other tours mentioned in the program, cannot be carried out because the places are not permitted to be visited or entered by local authorities on the relevant day and time, or because closed roads due to any event prevent the tour from taking place, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, Wtatil is not responsible for the inability to carry out these tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted, if possible. 7- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours in line with the content of our tours, depending on the number of participants and the closure status of museums and historical sites. This also applies in cases of changes that may occur in flight times. 8- In our tours carried out by speed boats, the points to be considered are: do not eat heavy meals and do not drink excessive amounts of water immediately before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guide of their condition. 9- If guests do not participate in the tour or meal services included under the services specified as included in the price, there will be no refund. About Flights 10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger; in possible disputes, in addition to the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will apply. 11- On scheduled and charter flights, delays or changes in flight times may occur. Wtatil is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the tour accepting the risk of flight time changes/cancellations. 12- Children aged 0-2 pay only the airport tax. 13- In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline. 14- For those participating in flight-inclusive tours, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest before the flight at the airport, at the relevant airline counters, or online via the airline’s website. 15- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur during flights are announced over the airport loudspeaker and displayed on information boards in the terminal. Guests must follow this information themselves. 16- Guests who do not arrive at the specified airport at the times indicated in accordance with airline rules, do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the aircraft, are not the responsibility of Wtatil if they are unable to take the flight. All costs related to obtaining new round-trip tickets and transfers in the destination region, etc., required for guests who miss the flight in order to join the tour, shall be borne by the guests themselves. 17- The standard baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This may vary depending on the airline and destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/fee rules are determined by the airlines and are not Wtatil’s responsibility. 18- For guests who wish to upgrade their airline tickets using miles (to business or first class); once the tickets have been issued, the upgrade can be made subject to the availability of the airline (please check your membership airline). No mileage guarantee is given for every flight. Please check whether the program’s tickets are eligible for upgrade. 19- On some airlines, food, beverages, and online check-in services may be subject to an additional fee. Other Matters 20- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made by the guest by contacting the hotel directly. In such cases, Wtatil’s cancellation conditions shall apply. 21- Where hotel names are not specified in the tour program and only category information is provided and/or options are offered for the same destination, Wtatil will inform the guest 48 hours before departure. 22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used farther than the stated locations or distances. In such a case, Wtatil will provide information 15 days before the departure date of the tour. 23- When registering for the purchased tour, the guest must accurately enter/declaratively provide the passport name, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties arising from ticket cancellations or changes due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests. 24- To use your mobile phone abroad, please check with your mobile operator before leaving Turkey whether your phone is enabled for international use. 25- Hotel check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00. 26- Requests regarding the room made by Wtatil (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel. The allocated rooms are arranged according to the guest’s preferences subject to the hotel’s availability. Fulfilling these requests depends on availability at check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil. 27- Breakfast offered in hotels differs from the rich breakfast customary in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group. 28- In some cases, a double bed may be provided instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer twin rooms that can be joined together when necessary. 29- Child and extra bed policies vary by hotel and room type. 30- Any additional bed or baby cot is provided upon request and subject to the hotel’s availability, and must be approved by the hotel. 31- The maximum capacity for an extra bed or baby cot in the room is 1. 32- In 3-person rooms, an extra bed is used; in such rooms, the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are folding beds and/or coach beds. Our guests are deemed to have accepted the possible lack of space in the rooms and the bed type resulting from extra beds added to standard rooms in 3-person room and/or child bookings. 33- If the number of children staying with adults and the ages of the children indicated in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification of children. 34- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are valid only if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply only to a “single child” in the age group eligible when staying with 2 adults. 35- Daily exchange rate changes are reflected in prices in TL. The exchange rates valid at the time of payment apply. Your additional requests and some extra services you may receive at the hotel (mini bar, ironing, etc.) are subject to extra charges by the hotel. These costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid directly to the hotel during your stay. 36- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any such city, tourism, or other taxes are collected by the hotel from the guest upon check-in or check-out. 37- Distances stated in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the destination country, roadworks, and road conditions. 38- Wtatil may, in compulsory or necessary circumstances, change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be used without altering the content of the program. 39- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, and passports/IDs of the participants are their own responsibility, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. If forgotten items are found, the costs incurred in delivering them to the country and/or the person are the responsibility of the owner. 40- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and, if they have any health issues, the relevant medications and medical reports with them. 41- For possible extra expenses, a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel at check-in. The refund of the deposit at check-out is an arrangement between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no involvement. Visa and Passport 42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens. 43- Our guests’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip. 44- For border crossings/customs checkpoints, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages for entry and exit stamps. 45- Being exempt from a visa for entry into the countries in this tour does not mean that entry into or exit from the country is guaranteed; the passport police have the authority to deny you entry/exit, and Wtatil is not responsible for this; responsibility lies with the traveler. 46- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using their other country’s passport must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applied by the destination country to the passport they will use; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for any resulting consequences. 47- Passports that are torn, worn, wet, and/or otherwise damaged must be renewed to avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the traveler. 48- Since for guests under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent there may be a possibility that the police officer at entry/exit may request a document showing the consent of both parents, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents pay close attention to this matter.
