 Day 2: Baku

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, free time. Guests who wish may join the Absheron Peninsula tour organized as an optional extra by our guide. After completing our tour, guests who wish may join the Caspian Sea Boat Tour, also organized as an optional extra by our guide. We then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Absheron Peninsula Tour – 70 Euros per person

We begin our tour with the Ateshgah Fire Temple. One of the three Zoroastrian temples in the world, this sacred structure fascinates visitors with the fire inside it, which has never gone out for centuries. Considered a pilgrimage center for Zoroastrian priests throughout history, Ateshgah offers an unforgettable experience with its architecture, courtyard and mystical atmosphere. We then visit Absheron’s most surprising natural wonder, **Yanardag (Burning Mountain)**, which Marco Polo called the “Land of Fire.” You can take unique photographs in front of the line of fire that burns continuously due to natural gas emerging from underground, and feel the true meaning of Azerbaijan’s title as the “land of fire.” Filled with nature, history and legends, this tour is one of Azerbaijan’s most impressive experiences.

Optional Tour: Caspian Sea Boat Tour – 50 Euros per person

We discover the modern silhouette of the city from the sea with a pleasant boat tour on the Caspian Sea, the pearl of Azerbaijan. Accompanied by the Flame Towers, the Seaside Boulevard, modern Baku architecture and the deep blue views of the Caspian, this excursion offers our guests both a relaxing and a unique photographic experience. Dancing with the city lights, this tour is one of the must-do activities of a Baku visit.

After breakfast in the morning, free time. Guests who wish may join the Gobustan & Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center Tour. Following our tour, overnight at our hotel.

Optional Tour: Gobustan & Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center Tour – €90

Our first stop is Gobustan National Park, located 70 km south of Baku and included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Referred to as an “open-air museum,” this unique area is a fascinating archaeological site that sheds light on human history with its thousands of years of rock carvings, illustrated stones and traces of prehistoric life. Here, many rock paintings can be seen, depicting everything from hunting scenes and dance figures to daily life and animals. The region’s distinctive nature and atmosphere offer our guests unforgettable photo opportunities. Following our visit to Gobustan, we turn toward the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, a symbol of modern Azerbaijan. Designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, this structure is one of Baku’s most iconic buildings, with its impressive curved form and extraordinary architecture. Inside the center, there are not only cultural and artistic exhibitions but also a special classic car collection that attracts great interest from visitors. Here, you can closely see and photograph perfectly restored Soviet classic vehicles dating from the 1940s to the 1970s, rare models from the USSR era such as Volga, Moskvich and Chaika, former official state vehicles used in state protocol, and vintage automobiles of high collectible value. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour price will be refunded to the guest. Regarding refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour: domestic connecting flights purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest; if a visa application has been submitted on behalf of the guest using the visa service and travel health insurance, these services cannot be refunded as they will have been used. If no visa application has been submitted, the visa service and travel health insurance will also be canceled and refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independently of the Agency, the guest cannot request any refund from the Agency if the trip is canceled by the Agency. The guest accepts in advance, upon purchasing the tour, any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and the Agency cannot be held responsible.

3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the Agency reserves the right, as a gesture of goodwill, not to cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the guiding service included in the package will cover only the airport transfer for the international outbound and return flights.

Cancellation and Changes

4- For our tours, transportation tickets are issued at the time of reservation. In cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the cost of these flight tickets, which do not have cancellation, change, or refund rights, will be charged as a penalty.

5- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, provided that they notify the Agency in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding flight tickets paid and/or committed to the airline by the Agency. If fewer than 31 days remain until the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the tour fee remaining after deducting the flight ticket cost; if 15 days or less remain until the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. If a cancellation is requested, advance information must be obtained regarding refunds for additional services such as domestic connecting flights, visa services, and travel health insurance, as their cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the period in which the cancellation is requested. The Agency cannot make any commitment regarding the cancellation and refund of additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and archaeological sites at the destinations are open or closed and on weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entrance fees. If the panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the relevant day and at the relevant time, or because roads are closed due to any event, and likewise if weather conditions make the tour impossible, the agency shall not be responsible for the inability to conduct such tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.

8- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours, while adhering to the content of our tours, depending on the number of participants and whether museums and archaeological sites are closed. This also applies in the event of changes to flight times.

9- Matters to be considered during our tours conducted by speedboats: heavy meals should not be eaten immediately before boarding the boat and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed. Guests with stomach, back, or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their condition.

10- There is no refund if the tours or meal services specified in the services included in the prices are not attended.

About Flights

11- The Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger; in possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, shall apply.

12- There may be delays or changes to flight times on scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obliged to notify the guest of these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip by accepting the risk of a change or cancellation of the flight time.

13- Children between 0 and 2 years of age pay only the airport tax.

14- In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.

15- Check-in and boarding procedures required for persons participating in tours with flights are personal procedures, and guests must complete these procedures before the flight at the airport counters of the relevant airline or online via the airline's website.

16- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur during flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on the information boards in the airport. These announcements and displays must be followed personally by the guests.

17- The Agency is not responsible if guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the aircraft are unable to take the flight. All expenses incurred for obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination region, etc., required for guests who miss the flight to join the tour, shall be borne by the guests themselves.

18- For most flights departing from Türkiye, the general baggage allowance is 20 kg. This allowance may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights within the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency.

19- For our guests who wish to upgrade their flight tickets using miles (to business or first class): after the tickets have been issued, the upgrade may be carried out depending on the availability of the airline (please check the airline with which you hold membership). Miles are not guaranteed for every flight. Please check whether the tickets in the program are in an upgrade-eligible class.

20- On some airlines, food and beverage services and online check-in may be subject to an additional fee.

Other Matters

21- The Agency shall not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation made by the guest by contacting the hotel directly. In such cases, the Agency's cancellation conditions shall apply.

22- Where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying hotel name(s) and/or alternatives are offered for the same destination, the hotel information will be notified to the guest by the Agency 48 hours before departure.

23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at locations or distances farther than those specified. In such a case, information will be provided by the Agency 15 days before the tour departure date.

24- During registration for the purchased tour, the guest must correctly enter/provide the name as shown on the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

25- To use your mobile phones abroad, check with the company to which your line belongs before leaving Türkiye to confirm whether your phone is enabled for international use.

26- For accommodation, hotel check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00.

27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, proximity to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by the Agency. Care is taken to ensure that the reserved rooms meet the guest's preferences, subject to the hotel's availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of hotel check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency.

28- The breakfast served at hotels differs from the rich breakfast customary in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast with limited options consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.

29- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of a twin-bedded room. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be joined together when necessary.

30- Each hotel's child and extra bed policy may vary according to the room types.

31- Any extra bed or baby cot is provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability, and must be approved by the hotel.

32- The capacity for an extra bed or baby cot in the room is one unit maximum.

33- Extra beds are available in triple rooms; in these rooms, the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of beds known as folding beds and coach beds. Our guests shall be deemed to have declared that they accept any possible crowding in the rooms and the bed type resulting from extra beds added to standard rooms in reservations for triple rooms and/or reservations with children.

34- If the number of children staying with adults and the children's ages specified in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the children's ages.

35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child. Child prices are valid only when the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply to a “single child” in the eligible age group staying with two adults.

36- Changes in the exchange rate during the day are reflected in TL prices. The exchange rates at the time of payment apply. Additional requests and certain extra services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to additional charges by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

37- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes applied in this manner are collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or departure.

38- The road distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country visited, roadworks, road conditions, and similar circumstances.

39- In mandatory or otherwise necessary circumstances, the Agency may change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be used, without altering the content of the program.

40- Participants in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/identification documents, and the Agency is not responsible for forgotten, lost, or stolen belongings. If forgotten belongings are found, all expenses incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person shall be borne by the owner of the belongings.

41- Persons participating in the tour must carry their travel health insurance policies and any relevant medication and medical reports if they have health problems.

42- For possible extra expenses, the hotel may request a government-issued photo ID/passport and a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in. The refund of the requested deposit upon check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency has no involvement.

Visa and Passport

1- Our guests' passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip.

2- At customs crossings/border gates, your passport must contain at least 2 blank pages so that entry and exit stamps can be affixed.

3- Being exempt from a visa or having obtained a visa for entry into the countries on this tour does not mean that entry into or departure from the country is guaranteed. Passport control officers have the authority to refuse your entry into or departure from the country. The Agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the passenger.

4- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using the passport of the other country must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedure applied by the country to be visited to the passport they will use; otherwise, the Agency shall not be responsible for any consequences that may arise.

5- To avoid problems with customs officers at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, passports must be renewed. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

6- As there is a possibility that guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one of their parents may be asked by police officers at country entry and exit points for a document showing the joint consent of both parents, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents pay particular attention to this matter.
