Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here in order to leave something in this place where he was born and to display his works. This museum now has the largest Dali collection and is regarded as Dali’s greatest work because every part of it was designed by Dali. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Day 3 Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra tour of Gaudi’s Magnificent Masterpiece Park Guell & Gothic Quarter. (60 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi’s magnificent works, Park Guell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park, called a fairy-tale park, creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairways and imaginative pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudi, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historical texture with its narrow, labyrinthine streets from the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the district are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, our guests who wish may join the extra Magnificent Sitges Tour (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming seaside town located on the Mediterranean coast southwest of Barcelona. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, and is also known for its art and cultural events, hosting many art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will begin our visit with the magical stairs of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla cathedral and lose ourselves in its historic streets. Dating from the 17th century, this cathedral was built on the remains of ancient Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey is through the historic streets of Sitges; within the medieval town center, the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the exquisite examples of Modernism, is almost a paradise for collectors. Directly opposite is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he also played the biggest role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which hosts horror and fantasy film categories and attracts thousands of people every year, is celebrated, we will head toward the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day here like the locals. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
