Day 1 Antalya – Basel – Strasbourg Meeting 3 hours before the flight in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter at Antalya Airport international departures terminal. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Basel at 11:05 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 110. Upon arrival in Basel at 12:55 local time, we begin our Basel city tour with the vehicle waiting for us. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that combines both modern and historical textures and, although small in area, is home to many treasures. During our city tour, we will see Basel Cathedral, where the grave of the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus of Rotterdam is located, Marktplatz, the main square of the city, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. After the tour, we depart for Strasbourg. As you explore Strasbourg, one of France’s most beautiful cities and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. With its fairytale-like nature and historical structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is truly worth seeing. Strasbourg also holds historical importance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written. It appears before us as a city where Alsace culture blends with French architecture. During our city tour, Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Place Kléber, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace houses will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or surrounding area. Day 2 Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra tour of the Fairy-Tale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) (110 Euro). On this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity, our first stop is Eguisheim. Having received the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its historical buildings dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, we will see St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stone, Little Venice, which resembles Italy’s Venice with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a medieval town in France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. In particular, Château de Kaysersberg Castle, dating back to the 13th century, is one of the town’s most prominent landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the city center, also attracts attention with its Gothic architecture. After the tour, our final stop is Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns in Alsace, with many half-timbered houses that add to its charm. This historic village captivates visitors with its colorful flower-decorated old houses, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. On the tour we will also see the remains of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old city walls to feel the medieval atmosphere. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight in Strasbourg or surrounding area. Day 3 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Outlet Center – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will make you feel the Middle Ages in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Heidelberg, a calm, elegant, and refined city, welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. On our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places to see. After the tour, our second stop is Baden Baden, a true oxygen-rich retreat immersed in nature, a center of culture and art, with thermal baths and even Europe’s most famous casino among its many attractions. After visiting Baden Baden, where many famous writers and composers found inspiration, we will spend free time at the outlet center where many famous brands are gathered. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Day 4 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height. This place, embraced by the strong arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the turquoise waters. After a breathtaking walk accompanied by the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historical center, striking Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, as well as St. Peter’s Church, home to Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, regarded as the city’s shopping avenue. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city in the central part of Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this charming city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we end our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or surrounding area. Day 5 Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Antalya After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart as indicated by our guide. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Located in southwestern Germany, nestled among lush green hills, Stuttgart stands out not only as an industrial giant but also for its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural heritage. On our city tour, we will see Schlossplatz (Palace Square), the largest square in Stuttgart, Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Palace), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church). After the tour, transfer to Stuttgart Airport. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Antalya on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 153 at 18:50. Arrival at 23:55 local time and end of the tour.
