ANKARA – COLOGNE – LUXEMBOURG
After baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures to be completed 3 hours before the flight at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal, we fly to Cologne on AJet Airlines’ scheduled direct flight VF517 at 13:50. Upon our arrival at Cologne Airport at 15:40 local time, we depart by our private coach to organize a Cologne city tour. Cologne, built around the Rhine River and an important trade center since the Middle Ages, is a notable German city known for its chocolates, Roman-era remains, Roman walls surrounding the city, medieval churches, and many historical structures. Cologne Gothic Cathedral, Hohenzollern Bridge, and Kaiser Wilhelm II Monument are among the main sights to be seen during our city tour. After our Cologne visit, following some free time, we head to our hotel in the Luxembourg region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
LUXEMBOURG – (Strasbourg Tour) – COLMAR – METZ
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we organize our Luxembourg city tour. According to IMF and World Bank data, Luxembourg is a world leader in terms of per capita income. The capital city, also called Luxembourg, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the only city to have been named European Capital of Culture twice, in 1995 and 2007. After our city tour in Luxembourg, one of Europe’s smallest countries in terms of area, we depart for Colmar. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Strasbourg Tour (50 Euro). Strasbourg, located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, welcomes us like a painting, almost as if straight out of a fairy tale. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s traffic-free center and streets are explored on foot during our panoramic city tour, where we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important landmark located in the very heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which still serves as a hotel and restaurant today. After the Strasbourg tour, our journey continues to Colmar. In our fairy-tale Colmar tour, we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, as well as Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous area. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as purchase numerous souvenirs. At the end of the Colmar tour, we depart for Metz. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Metz region, room assignment and free time to rest.
METZ – (Paris Masterpieces Tour) – PARIS
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to organize our Metz city tour. Metz, a medieval city established at the confluence of the Moselle and Seille rivers in northeastern France, will be explored during our panoramic city tour, after which we continue to Paris. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Paris Masterpieces Tour (45 Euro). In our Paris Masterpieces Tour, we begin at one of Paris’s magnificent squares, Trocadéro Square, located on the hill directly opposite the Eiffel Tower, offering the best view of the tower and home to many cafes and restaurants. The Opera Building, Concorde Square decorated with 365 street lamps, and Champs-Élysées Avenue will be seen. At the end of the tour, we continue our journey to Paris. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Paris region, room assignment and free time to rest.
PARIS – (Paris Phenomena Tour and Seine River Boat Tour) – (Paris Icons Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Paris Phenomena and Seine River Boat Tour (85 Euro). We begin our Paris Phenomena Tour with the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris and even France. This structure, made of steel and iron, was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris World Exposition; after drawing great interest from visitors during and after the exposition, it was no longer demolished and has remained standing to this day. We offer free time around the Eiffel Tower for photos and exploration. During this free time, guests who wish may ascend to the tower’s second level by elevator, one of its three sections, to enjoy the unique view of Paris and take beautiful photos (optional Eiffel Tower elevator fee 23€, not included in the extra tour price). After our Eiffel tour, we arrange a Seine River boat tour. (Boat tour is included in the extra tour fee.) The 776 km-long Seine, one of the world’s most famous rivers, divides the city into two. During our ride on long boats gliding gently along the river, we will see many famous buildings of Paris and the 37 bridges over the river from a unique perspective. After our Seine River excursion, we continue via Invalides Square, passing the Lady Diana Monument, and panoramically viewing many historical buildings including Palais Royal, a 17th-century royal entertainment center, and Comédie-Française Square, where the French National Theater is also located. We then visit the perfume museum, where fragrances and essences unique to France are exhibited in original bottles with aesthetically striking designs, reflecting both the development of the city and the perfume industry. Finally, we arrive at BENLUX Store and are given free time for shopping and sightseeing for souvenirs, cosmetics, bags, watches, accessories, and more. Guests who wish may visit the Louvre Museum, originally built as a fortress in the Middle Ages and later converted into a museum after the French Revolution; we will stop here for a photo break, and during the free time offered, they may visit the museum (optional Louvre Museum entrance fee 33€, not included in the extra tour price). After the tour, free time in the city center. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Paris Icons Tour (65 Euro). In this tour, we first go to Montmartre Hill, known as the “Artists’ Hill,” where bohemian life still continues today, with street painters and caricaturists, and where many famous painters have worked; it is also Paris’s highest point. After visiting Sacré-Coeur Basilica atop this 130-meter hill (funicular transportation fee is included in the extra tour price), we have free time in the Artists’ Square for portraits and sightseeing. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel.
PARIS – (Disneyland Tour or Paris Local Neighborhoods & Luxembourg Gardens and Perfume Museum Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Disneyland Tour (Single Park Ticket 130 Euro & Two Park Ticket 150 Euro – ticket prices may vary depending on availability. Advance reservation is recommended. Guests joining the Disneyland Tour are responsible for their own transportation from the RER train station to Disneyland Park. They will be dropped off at the RER train station on the outbound journey, and on the return they will be picked up from the Disneyland Park entrance according to their preference.) On this tour, you can enjoy a full day of unlimited fun in Disneyland’s fairy-tale entertainment world. Guests who wish may also spend their full day of free time on the optional Paris Local Neighborhoods & Luxembourg Gardens and Perfume Museum Tour (50 Euro). In this tour, we first take a walking tour and passage visit in St. Michel and St. Germain, areas filled with luxury shops, cafes, and restaurants, lively and active at all hours of the day, where Parisians mostly prefer to live their daily lives, allowing us to observe the truly Parisian atmosphere. Next, we visit Saint Sulpice Church, called the pearl of artistic architecture in Paris and host to the weddings of many world-famous names, and then Luxembourg Garden, which inspires painters with its colorful flowers, impressive lake view, enchanting statues, and historical monuments. The tour continues with a visit to the perfume museum, where fragrances and essences unique to France are exhibited in original bottles with aesthetically striking designs, reflecting both the development of the city and the perfume industry. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel.
PARIS – (Bruges Tour) – BRUSSELS – AMSTERDAM
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Brussels. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Bruges Tour (50 Euro). Bruges, known as “Belgium’s Venice” thanks to its houses on the water and canal-lined streets, is considered a fairy-tale city. The city’s historical fabric and medieval architecture, which fortunately remained undamaged during World War II, have survived to the present day. The colorful, single-story, cake-like houses, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets in the main square will draw us into a fairy tale. After our Bruges city tour, we continue our journey to Brussels. Upon arrival in Brussels, we organize our city tour. Brussels, considered the European and EU capital because it hosts many institutions related to both Belgium and the European Union and NATO, is a city that has succeeded in preserving many historical artifacts throughout history. After our city tour in Brussels, where we will see the Grand Place, one of Europe’s most famous and lively squares, and many venues known for their Gothic architecture and historical fabric, we depart for Amsterdam. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Amsterdam region, room assignment and free time to rest.
AMSTERDAM – (Amsterdam Icons Tour) – (Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Amsterdam Icons Tour (55 Euro). On this tour, Dam Square, the Royal Palace, and Central Station are among the main sights. We explore Amsterdam’s local neighborhoods and narrow streets, famous for their walking paths and canals, and visit the city from different perspectives. After the tour, free time is provided. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills Tour (80 Euro). We first arrive in Volendam. In this fishing village, we complete our program with a walking tour along streets surrounded by well-kept and beautiful houses, and along the seafront road lined with restaurants and cafes. We then proceed to Zaandam. Located in the north of the country by the Zaan River, Zaandam is an open-air museum where modern shopping opportunities blend with traditional historical green Zaan houses, making it a favorite among Instagram enthusiasts. After our sightseeing and free time in Zaandam, which holds the distinction of being the site of Europe’s first McDonald’s restaurant, we move to our final stop, Zaanse Schans. This historic village, with its windmills, museums, nature, and culture, is one of the Netherlands’ most popular tourist attractions. After our Zaanse Schans visit, where we can see the windmills used today in paint and oil production as well as shops offering handmade souvenirs such as wooden clogs, we complete our tour and offer free time. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel in the Amsterdam region.
AMSTERDAM – OUTLET – COLOGNE – ANKARA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart to visit the outlet center. After enjoyable free time for affordable and quality shopping at the outlet center, which houses stylish stores of world-famous prestigious brands as well as cafes, restaurants, and activity areas, we head to Cologne Airport for our return flight to Ankara. Upon arrival at the airport and completion of baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Ankara on AJet Airlines’ direct scheduled flight VF518 at 16:45. Arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport at 22:05 local time and end of the tour.
