Day 1 Ankara – Cairo
Meet at the AJet counter in the International Terminal of Ankara Esenboğa Airport 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, depart for Cairo at 12:45 on AJet flight VF 599. Upon arrival at 13:45 local time, we will tour together the main areas of this magical city brought to life by the Nile with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport: Sedat’s Memorial Tomb, Khan el Khalili Bazaar, Baron Palace, El Tahrir Square, and the city center stretching along the Nile are just some of the places we will see. At the end of our tour, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. (Lunch is not included in the tour price.) Afterwards, we set off for the Saqqara Valley (Valley of the Dead), where those who lived in Memphis, Egypt’s oldest capital, were buried. After approximately a half-hour journey, we will see the statues of the pharaohs, ancient temples and palace ruins. We will then visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, named after King Djoser, a member of the 3rd Pharaoh Dynasty that ruled Egypt in the 27th century BC, known as the first and largest stone structure pyramid in Egyptian history built from stone blocks, followed by free time. Afterwards, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Majestic Pyramids & Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum tour with lunch. (Adult -150 USD) During our tour, we will see the magnificent Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure, followed by a photo stop. After our tour, we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest museum built for a single civilization, constructed near the Giza pyramids. (Entrance fee included.) We will finish our tour after visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum, which covers all periods of Ancient Egyptian history with more than 100,000 artifacts. After lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Majestic Nile boat tour with dinner. (Adult -75 USD) We will enjoy dinner from a rich menu on the Nile River, which passes through the very center of Cairo, while viewing the most beautiful scenery of the city built along the Nile under the nighttime lights. We recommend that you do not miss this tour. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Majestic Old Cairo and Museum of Civilization tour with lunch, organized by our guide. (Adult -130 USD) Cairo, one of the centers of the three great religions, is home to some of the world’s oldest Islamic, Jewish and Christian places of worship. On this enjoyable excursion, focusing both on the history of the three religions and Egypt’s cultural characteristics, the Mosque and Citadel of Muhammad Ali Pasha (entrance fee included), the Amr ibn al-As Mosque, Egypt’s first Islamic structure, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, believed to be where Moses spent his infancy and which later began serving as a place of worship, the Hanging Church, considered one of the most important places of worship in the Christian world, the Abu Serga Church, Egypt’s oldest Christian place of worship where Jesus is believed to have stayed during his journey to Palestine, the St. George Church, one of Egypt’s oldest and most important churches, and the Museum of Civilization, which opened in 2021 with a magnificent ceremony that made headlines around the world and was watched by millions of people, yet immediately entered the ranks of the world’s most important museums with its collections, are some of the places we will see. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during our excursion. During our tour, we will also visit Khan el Khalili, one of Africa’s largest and oldest bazaars, and provide free time for shopping. After our tour, guests who wish may join the optional Majestic Nile felucca tour. (Adult -35 USD) Are you ready for a beautiful excursion on the Nile River aboard authentic sailing feluccas? We will view magnificent Cairo from the boat on the Nile River, accompanied by complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, fruit and snacks. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Cairo
After breakfast at our hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Majestic Alexandria tour with lunch. (Adult -150 USD) Departing from our hotel, after approximately a three-hour journey, we arrive in Alexandria, the Pearl of the Mediterranean and Egypt’s second-largest city. During our city tour of Alexandria, which has become an attraction due to its rich cosmopolitan character and its status as a meeting point of Roman, Greek and Egyptian cultures, the places we will see include Qaitbay Citadel, Montazah Royal Palace, Alexandria Stadium, the Corniche area, Pompey’s Pillars, the Greco-Roman Museum, the Royal Jewelry Museum, the National Oceanography and Fisheries Museum, the Library of Alexandria, Attarine Mosque and the Amphitheater. After our tour, we will have lunch at a local fish restaurant. Following free time, transfer to our hotel in Cairo. Overnight at the hotel
Day 5 Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, depart for Ankara Esenboğa Airport at 14:35 on AJet flight VF 600. Arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport at 17:35 local time and end of our tour.
