Day 1: Ankara - Skopje – Bitola - Resen – Ohrid

Meeting at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, in front of the Ajet Airlines counter at the departure terminal, 3 hours before the flight. Departure from Ankara to Skopje nonstop and direct at 08:45 with Ajet Airlines scheduled service. After an approximately two-hour comfortable journey, arrival in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. After entry procedures, we depart with our private vehicle waiting at the airport for our tour of Resen and Bitola, renowned for their magnificent nature and historical richness. We are on our way to Bitola, once one of the most important cultural and trade centers of the Ottoman Empire. Upon arrival in Bitola, we visit from the outside the Military High School where the Great Leader Atatürk studied and the Atatürk Museum. In this magical city, we will also discover historical Ottoman-era landmarks such as the Turkish Bazaar, the Bedesten, Ishak Pasha Mosque, and the New Mosque. While feeling the historical texture of Bitola, you will have the chance to take a pleasant walk through the city’s nostalgic streets. After a short break here, we continue to Resen, where we will see panoramically the Palace of Resneli Niyazi Bey, an important figure who left his mark on Balkan history. Resen offers a fascinating atmosphere with both its nature and Ottoman traces. After our tour, we head toward Ohrid. Breathtaking views will accompany us along the way. Upon arrival in Ohrid, we will take a tour introducing the historic city of Ohrid, which was one of the important bases of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. Among the places we will see during our tour are: the Monument to Saints Cyril and Methodius, 9th-century Byzantine monks believed to have developed the Cyrillic alphabet, and important structures such as the Church of Hagia Sophia. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through Çınar Square, the heart of the city, and visit the Turkish Bazaar dating back to the old Ottoman period. Here you may visit the Halveti Tekke and feel the city’s cultural texture up close. Then, by visiting the New Bazaar and Ohrid Market, you will witness the daily life of the local people. Day 2: Ohrid – Tirana – Shkodër

After breakfast, we leave our hotel and set off toward Tirana, the capital of Albania. An impressive tour awaits us in this beautiful city, rich in historical and cultural aspects, where we will discover Tirana, considered the center of Bektashism in Europe. Upon arrival in Tirana, we visit the Et'hem Bey Mosque, one of the city’s most important landmarks. Begun in 1789 and completed in 1923, this structure is one of Albania’s cultural heritages. We take a short break in Skanderbeg Square and see the Skanderbeg Statue proudly standing in the middle of the square. The Clock Tower, the symbol of Tirana, built by Et'hem Bey in 1821, is also one of the highlights of our tour. Day 3: Shkodër – Prizren - Pristina - Skopje

After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head to Prizren, known as Kosovo’s cultural capital. Upon arrival, we begin exploring the narrow streets of Prizren, whose architecture resembles Anatolian Ottoman towns and whose shop signs are filled with Turkish expressions. In the city, we will visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, one of the most important examples of Ottoman architecture. In addition, the Halveti Tekke, the Bayrakli Mosque, and Mehmet Pasha Hammam are among the other important Ottoman works to be seen. After the free time we will spend in Prizren, we head toward Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. After our journey, upon arrival in Pristina, we begin our panoramic city tour, where we will discover Kosovo’s modern and historical sides. During our tour, we will also visit many valuable structures from the Ottoman period. We will see the Fatih Sultan Mehmed Mosque and the 18th-century Yashar Pasha Mosque. During this tour through the city’s historical heritage, we will have the opportunity to commemorate this important historical event and its place in Ottoman history by visiting the Tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad I Hüdavendigar, who was killed on the Kosovo Plain as a result of the 1389 Battle of Kosovo. Day 4: Skopje

After breakfast, our first stop is the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, one of the city’s largest and most magnificent mosques, built in 1492. Then we visit the Murat Pasha Mosque, built in the 15th century. This mosque stands out especially for its Ottoman-era decorations and architecture. Continuing our tour, we will see Kapan Han and Suli Han located in the heart of Skopje. These structures, fine examples of Ottoman inns, were once important centers where merchants stayed and traded. Later, we visit the Stone Bridge, which has become the symbol of Skopje. This bridge was built in the 15th century and connects the two banks of the Vardar River. Walking across the Stone Bridge, we will continue our tour by seeing the Turkish and Jewish quarters along the Vardar River. During our riverside walk, we pass through Macedonia Square. This square is Skopje’s largest and most central point and is surrounded by modern buildings. Here we will encounter the statue of Alexander the Great and other monuments. Then, we see the Ottoman Bridge from the outside, dating back to the 15th century, and by visiting the Davut Pasha Hammam, we will once again feel the splendor of the Ottoman era. We continue discovering the city by walking toward Skopje’s Turkish Bazaar. Before reaching the bazaar, we see the Clock Tower, built in the 16th century and one of Skopje’s symbolic structures. Here, we will visit the Sultan Murat Mosque and the Isa Bey Mosque, among the early mosques of the Ottoman Empire. The mosques are an important part of the city’s Islamic heritage and attract attention with their architecture. Finally, we allow free time in the Turkish Bazaar. In this bazaar, you can find many products ranging from traditional handicrafts to souvenirs. After your enjoyable time in the bazaar, transfer to Restaurant Gardenia for the Balkan Night. Day 5: Skopje – Belgrade

After breakfast, we leave our hotel and begin a pleasant journey to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Belgrade, one of the most important cultural and strategic centers of the Balkans throughout history, also stands out today with its vibrancy, dynamism, and historical texture. In this fascinating city, we will have the chance to discover the intersection of Ottoman and European cultures. Upon arrival in Belgrade, a panoramic city tour begins, where we will explore the city in all its splendor. Here, you can feel the historical atmosphere and discover Belgrade’s texture that brings together the past and the present. Then, we head to one of the city’s most impressive points, where the Sava River meets the Danube River. In this unique view, exploring this region, which has been the focal point of many conquests and victories throughout history, will be a great pleasure. As we continue exploring this ancient city, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded in pursuit of its conquest, which ultimately came under the rule of Suleiman the Magnificent, you will encounter Belgrade Fortress, which was used as a supply center for the Ottoman navy. While tracing history in this fortress, we will see important points such as the Fortress Square and the Stone Square. During our tour, we will visit the Tomb of Martyr Ali Pasha, one of the important figures of the Ottoman period. During these visits, you will deeply explore Belgrade’s rich history and gain knowledge about the cultural heritage left from the Ottoman period. Day 6: Belgrade – Sarajevo

After breakfast, we head to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, it has gone down in history as the place that was the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and where World War I broke out in 1914 following the assassination of Austro-Hungarian Crown Prince Archduke Franz Ferdinand by the Serbs. In the 1992 war, it suffered great destruction as a result of the devastating conflicts between Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, yet Sarajevo managed to preserve much of its beauty. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the famous Baščaršija, the historic Ottoman inn Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral reflecting the city’s religious cosmopolitanism, the Synagogue, the Gazi Husrev-beg and Ferhadija Mosques, Latin Bridge where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place in 1914, the Old Library, and the western-style buildings formed during the city’s 40-year Austro-Hungarian administration. This bridge was destroyed during the war in 1992, but thanks to major contributions from the Republic of Turkey, it was rebuilt in 2004 in accordance with the original, and today it once again serves as the symbol of Mostar. Around this bridge, which elegantly connects the two banks of the Neretva River, we will have the opportunity to walk through the historic bazaar and stone streets. After discovering the enchanting atmosphere of Mostar, we will visit the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque, one of the city’s most important religious structures. Here, we will both examine the architectural details from the Ottoman period and enjoy the magnificent view of Mostar Bridge from the mosque’s courtyard. Need to Know
GENERAL TERMS 1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program. 2- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the Agency may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour fee will be refunded to the guest. In the case of additional services purchased outside the tour; any domestic flight connections purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest, while visa services and travel health insurance fees will not be refunded if a visa application was submitted on behalf of the guest using the services. If a visa application has not been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be canceled, and a refund will be made. If the guest purchased the domestic flight connection independently from a different provider, they cannot claim any refund from the Agency in case the tour is canceled by the Agency. The guest accepts in advance any financial or moral losses that may arise from the cancellation of the tour and acknowledges that the Agency cannot be held responsible. 3- If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the Agency reserves the right to show goodwill and not cancel the tour. In this case, as the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guidance service will only cover the round-trip airport transfer for the international departure. Cancellation and Changes 4- In our tours, tickets related to transportation are issued at the time of reservation. For cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the airfare, which does not have a cancellation and change right, will be charged as a penalty. 5- Guests have the right to cancel without penalty until 30 days before the tour departure date, provided they notify the Agency in writing, except for airline tickets that have been paid for and/or guaranteed by the airline. If the trip is canceled less than 31 days before the start of the trip, they may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the airfare. In the case of cancellation requests made 15 days or less before the start of the trip, the total tour fee will be charged as a penalty. In case of cancellation requests, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connections, visa services, travel health insurance may vary depending on the duration of the cancellation request, so the guest must inquire in advance about the refund. The Agency cannot make any commitments regarding the refund of additional services. Guidance Services and Extra Tours 6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on the situation of museums and historical sites being open/closed and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours. 7- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are conducted for the general introduction of the cities and consist of a maximum of 2-3 hour tours made panoramically with the guide's commentary from the vehicle, excluding museum and historical site admissions. Panoramic tours, together with other tours specified in the program, do not include entry permissions for sites that may not be visited by local authorities, closures due to any events, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, the Agency is not responsible for the non-fulfillment of such tours. Some tours may be carried out via public transport or on foot in locations where vehicle entry is not permitted. 8- Our guide may make changes to the days of the city tour and/or additional tours based on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and the closure status of the sites. This also applies to changes that may occur in flight times. 9- Important points to note during tours conducted by Speed Boats are as follows: avoid heavy meals and excessive water intake just before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back, or neck issues, as well as pregnant guests, should inform their guides of their conditions. 10- There is no refund for services included in the price if the guest does not participate in the respective tour or meal services. About Flights 11- The Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of the Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, will apply. 12- Delays or changes in flight times may occur on scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times when purchasing the trip. 13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee. 14- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline. 15- Check-in and boarding processes for participants in flights are personal responsibilities and must be performed by the guest at the airport before the flight, either at the airline counters or online via the airline firms' websites. 16- Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information boards in the area. This information should be followed personally by the guests. 17- The Agency is not responsible for guests who are not present at the specified airport during the times stated in accordance with airline rules, fail to complete their check-in and boarding processes on time, or complete check-in and boarding on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and transfers to the destination for guests who miss their flight are their own responsibility. 18- The general baggage allowance for Turkish outbound flights is 20 kg. This restriction may vary according to the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may decrease to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price regulations are determined by airlines and the Agency is not responsible. 19- For guests wishing to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrades can be processed according to the airline's availability (check the frequent flyer program you belong to) after the tickets are issued. No mileage guarantee is provided for each flight. Check the eligibility of the tickets for upgradeability. 20- Some airlines may charge extra fees for food and beverages and online check-in services. Other Matters 21- The Agency will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellation processes made directly by the guest with the hotel. In this case, the cancellation conditions of the Agency will apply. 22- If the name(s) of the hotel(s) are not specified in the tour program and only category information is provided, or if options are presented for the same destination, the Agency will inform the guest 48 hours before the trip departure. 23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used from locations that are farther than the specified distances. In this case, the Agency will inform the guest 15 days before the tour departure. 24- At the time of registration for the purchased tour; the guest must accurately enter/declare the name as it appears on the passport, date of birth, and passport number in the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Penalties for any ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests. 25- To use mobile phones abroad, ensure before leaving Turkey that your phone is enabled for international use by contacting the service provider. 26- The check-in time for hotels is 15:00 and the check-out time is 12:00. 27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated by the Agency to the hotel. Care will be taken for the assigned rooms to meet the guest's preferences, depending on the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency. 28- The breakfasts served at hotels may differ from the rich breakfast common in Turkish cuisine. It is generally presented as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee and may be served in a separate hall designated for groups. 29- In some cases, a double bed may be available instead of a double room. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be combined if necessary. 30- Child and extra bed policies may vary by hotel and room types. 31- All kinds of extra beds and baby cots are provided upon request and by the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel. 32- The capacity for extra beds or baby cots in the room is a maximum of 1. 33- In triple rooms, extra bed applications are available, and the bed assigned to the third person in these rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are composed of folding or coach beds. Our guests accept that there may be tightness in rooms with triple bookings and/or bookings with children due to the extra beds added to the standard room. 34- If the number of children and their ages traveling with adults is misrepresented, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the erroneous declaration. Hotels may request identification for age assessment of children. 35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed may not be available for the child. Child prices are only valid if the child is staying with two adults. Child discounts apply to one “single child” who meets the age group alongside two adults. 36- Currency exchange values during the day are reflected in TL prices. The rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests and some extra services (minibar, ironing, etc.) at the hotel may incur additional charges. These costs are not included in the payment upon purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay. 37- Some countries have different applications for city, tourism, or local-level taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes being applied in this manner will be collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or exit. 38- The distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may vary due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country, roadworks, and conditions. 39- In cases of necessity, the Agency may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be flown while keeping the content of the program intact. 40- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities of individuals participating in the tour are their own responsibility, and the Agency is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, the costs incurred during their delivery to the country and/or the person are the responsibility of the item owner. 41- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any relevant medications and prescriptions if they have any health issues. 42- For possible additional expenses, a photograph-identification document/passport issued by official institutions and a credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel upon check-in. The deposit requested at check-out is an operation between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency does not intervene in this process. Visa and Passport 1- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months after the travel end date. 2- To have entry-exit stamps in your passport during customs crossings/border posts, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport. 3- Being exempt from or having obtained a visa does not guarantee entry/exit into/from the countries on this tour; border police have the authority to refuse entry/exit, and the Agency is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the passenger. 4- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or dual citizens who wish to participate in the tour using another country's passport must personally consult the respective consulates regarding the visa procedures of the country they will be traveling to; otherwise, the Agency will not be responsible for any consequences. 5- To avoid issues with customs authorities at the border due to torn, damaged, wet, or similarly affected passports, it is necessary to renew passports. In the absence of this, the responsibility lies with the traveler. 6- Guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that border authorities may request a document showing the mutual consent of both parents. Therefore, minors and their parents are advised to take care regarding this matter.
