ISTANBUL – AMSTERDAM
After baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures to be carried out 3 hours before the flight at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, we depart for Amsterdam at 10:30 on Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled flight TK1957. Upon our arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 12:55 local time, we meet our private coach and depart for our city tour. On our panoramic city tour, Dam Square, the Royal Palace, and Central Station are among the main sights to be seen. After our tour, during which we explore Amsterdam’s local neighborhoods and narrow streets on foot, discovering the city from different angles and visiting its world-famous streets, we enjoy free time before heading to our hotel in the Amsterdam region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
AMSTERDAM – (Bruges Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. Guests who wish may join the optional Bruges Tour (150 Euro). Bruges, known as “Belgium’s Venice” thanks to its houses located on the water and its canal-lined streets, is regarded as a dreamlike city. Its historic fabric and medieval architecture, which miraculously survived World War II without damage, have remained intact to this day. The colorful, one-story, cake-like houses with their roofs, churches, statues, and cobblestone medieval streets in the city square will draw us into a fairy tale. After our city tour in Bruges, we return to our hotel in the Amsterdam region.
AMSTERDAM – (Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills and Giethoorn Hobbit Village Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. In the afternoon, guests who wish may join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages & Windmills and Giethoorn Hobbit Village Tour (125 Euro). On our tour, we first arrive in Volendam. In this fishing town, we complete our program with a walking tour along the well-kept and beautiful streets, as well as the waterfront lined with restaurants and cafes, and then proceed to Zaanse Schans, our next stop. With its windmills, museums, nature, and culture, this historic village is one of the Netherlands’ most popular tourist attractions. After our visit to Zaanse Schans, where we will see windmills used today for paint and oil production as well as shops where examples of handcrafted souvenirs such as wooden clogs can be found, we visit Giethoorn, known as the “Land of Fairy Tales” for its peaceful atmosphere and canals. Giethoorn is ranked among the world’s most peaceful places with its pristine nature away from motor vehicles, bridges, canals, and charming houses with a unique architectural style. After our sightseeing tour in Giethoorn Hobbit Village, guests will have free time, and those who wish may take an optional boat tour for an additional fee (boat tour fee 10 Euro) to cruise through the canals of this magical village on wooden boats and view the charming houses resembling the living spaces of hobbits from a different perspective. After our tour in Giethoorn, we return to our hotel in the Amsterdam region.
AMSTERDAM – (Grand Holland: Rotterdam & Delft & The Hague and Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart at the time specified by our guide for Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Grand Holland: Rotterdam & Delft & The Hague and Outlet Tour (95 Euro). Our first stop is The Hague. In The Hague, the administrative capital of the country, sights include the Parliament Building, the Royal Palace, and the European Court of Human Rights; after our visit, where we may even encounter Dutch parliamentarians in the streets and cafes of The Hague, we continue to Rotterdam. Dating back to the 1270s, rebuilt almost from scratch after World War II, and today home to Europe’s largest port, Rotterdam is the Netherlands’ largest city in terms of population and its most important economic and commercial center. During our city tour, landmarks such as the Erasmus Bridge and the Cube Houses will be among our main sightseeing points and will attract attention. After free time in Rotterdam, we arrive in Delft. Known for its medieval canals, narrow streets, and brick architecture, Delft offers a typical Dutch atmosphere, and is famous for its blue and white ceramics. After a walking tour and free time in Delft, we continue to the outlet center. Home to stylish stores of world-famous prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and areas for personal activities, the outlet center offers free time for quality shopping at affordable prices. After completing our tour, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 23:10 on Turkish Airlines’ direct scheduled flight TK1956. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 03:30 local time and end of the tour.
