1ST DAY ALIAĞA - MYTILENE- JUMBO & LIDL- AGIA SOS At 07:15, we meet at Aliağa Port. After obtaining our boarding passes at the ferry office, we depart for Mytilene Island on the 08:00 ferry. Guests wishing can take the Izban Line to Aliağa. After a pleasant journey of about 110 minutes across the Aegean Sea, we arrive in Mytilene. After completing the gate visa and entry procedures, we transfer to Mytilene city center with our vehicle waiting at the port. Accompanied by our guide, we will have a walking tour that includes; • Ayios Therapondas Church • Metropolitan Church • Historic bazaar • Structures from the Ottoman period • Coastal area These are among the places to see. We provide free time for lunch and shopping in the city center. Guests can try the flavors of Greek cuisine at the seaside taverns if they wish. After some free time, we make a brief visit to Lidl and Jumbo markets where the locals of Mytilene do shopping. In the second half of the day, we head to Agiasos Village, located about 30 km away from Mytilene center. Situated at the foot of Mount Olympos, this village is one of the most authentic settlements on the island with its stone streets, traditional architecture, and handmade shops. Here, we visit the Panaghia Church and take a short coffee break in the village square. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the evening. Food & Drink & Accommodation • Breakfast: Not included • Lunch: Not included • Dinner: Not included • Accommodation: Mytilene Center Hotels 2ND DAY OLIVE OIL FACTORY – THERMAL - MANTAMADOS - MOLIVOS – PETRA - MANTAMADOS - MYTILENE - TAVERN NIGHT After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey towards the north of Mytilene. On our way to Molivos, we pass through the Thermi area known for its healing waters during the Ottoman period. We visit a traditional Olive Oil Factory on the way. There are approximately 11 million olive trees throughout Mytilene, and these trees are one of the most important parts of the island's culture. After receiving information about the production process in the factory, we carry out a short olive oil tasting. We then move on to Mantamados Village. Here we visit the Taxiarxis Monastery, one of the most significant religious structures on the island. After the visit, we take a short break at the village square. Guests wishing can try the village's famous honeyed buffalo yogurt and lokma sweet. After our break, we proceed to Molivos, one of the most beautiful towns on the island. With its castle dating back to the 13th century, stone houses, and narrow streets, Molivos is one of the most impressive settlements in Mytilene. During our free time here, you can take a walk through the town streets, explore small shops, and take photos in the unique scenery. Then, we make a short journey to Petra Town. With its Panagia Church perched on a rocky hill and taverns stretching along the coast, Petra is one of the most enjoyable spots on the island. In the evening, we return to Mytilene center. This evening, our program includes one of the most enjoyable moments of the tour, a Live Music Greek Tavern Night. We enjoy the flavors of traditional Greek melodies, local cuisine, and an entertaining atmosphere in Mytilene night. At a time determined by our guide, we head to Plomari Town located to the south of Mytilene. This seaside town, approximately 40 km from Mytilene center, is known for its clear sea, long coastline, and world-famous uzos. After a brief walking tour with our guide, we provide free time in the beach area. Then we visit Barbayanni Uzo Factory, one of the most famous distilleries in Mytilene. Here, we learn about the production process of ouzo and listen to the story of ouzo, one of the island’s most important local products. After our visit, we go to Mytilene Port. At 18:30, we depart from Mytilene to Dikili and bid farewell to our esteemed guests after an enjoyable tour. A Schengen visa application must be made. • Guests with entry to the TRNC in their passport cannot enter Greece and must change their passport book. • The passport must be valid for 6 months after the return travel date. • The program may change, although the places to be visited remain the same. The tavern night may change. • The hotels may vary according to the dates; current hotel information will be provided in the WhatsApp group that will be created. • Child rates apply only for accommodation with 2 adults. The rooms in the accommodation hotels are of standard room category, and there is no guarantee of a view.
