DAY 01: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – HURGADA – LUXOR
At Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at 23:00 (the meeting 15 Mart will be at night). We meet, complete our check-in procedures, and then depart for Hurghada at 02:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK702. Arrival in Hurghada at 04:45 local time. Upon arrival, we proceed with our private vehicle waiting at the airport first to the restaurant where we will have breakfast to start the day energized. After breakfast at the local restaurant, we depart from Hurghada to transfer to our ship in Luxor. After check-in procedures, we leave the ship to visit the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. After touring the Karnak Temple, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and the largest ancient structure ever built in the world, we transfer to the ship and have lunch. After lunch, in Luxor, home to the world’s largest open-air museum, we will visit the Luxor Temple, built by the 9th Pharaoh in honor of Amon, the greatest of the ancient Egyptian gods. After our temple visit, which resembles an open-air museum, we return to our ship. Dinner and accommodation on board.
DAY 02: LUXOR – ESNA - EDFU
After breakfast, we set off for our Valley of the Kings tour. After visiting the tombs of the kings, we will also see the Hatshepsut Temple, built in memory of the first female pharaoh, Hatshepsut. After touring Hatshepsut, the oldest of the mortuary temples belonging to Queen Hatshepsut, we return to our ship and have our lunch. The ship will head to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 03: EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN
After breakfast, we will visit the Edfu Temple, completed in 57 BC, the temple of Horus with a falcon head. We will head to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. After lunch, on the banks of the Nile River, we visit the Kom Ombo Temple, the Temple of the Crocodile & Falcon God. The reliefs inside Kom Ombo, the only temple shared by two gods, Horus, the god of goodness, and Sobek, the god of evil, were erased by the Copts who later used it as a church. Stones from the temple, damaged by the flooding of the Nile and earthquakes, were reused in other constructions. Departure for Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 04: ASWAN – EBU SIMBEL – ASWAN
Today we will have our early breakfast as a packed meal. With our private vehicle, we head to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival, we tour the magnificent masterpiece, the Abu Simbel Temple. This temple was built by Pharaoh Ramses II in Southern Egypt to show his enemies how powerful he was and to express his love for his wife Nefertari. Carved into the interior of Mount Simbel, the temple was moved back after a 6-year effort led by UNESCO to save it from being submerged during the construction of the Aswan Dam. After this fascinating visit, we return to Aswan by private vehicle. Upon arrival in Aswan, we board our ship and have lunch on board. After lunch, we continue our tour with the Philae Temple, which was dismantled as part of the UNESCO Nubia Project before the dam was built and moved to Agilkia Island. Transfer to the ship after the tour. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 05: CAIRO
After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures from the ship. With our private vehicle waiting for us for the “Giza Pyramids Tour”, we transfer to the airport to make our Aswan – Cairo flight. Our first stop will be the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and named after the pharaohs who built them. Built thousands of years ago and still preserving their mysteries, these 3 pyramids were designed so that there is a Pythagorean triangle among them. These pyramids, built years before Pythagoras, show that the Egyptians had highly advanced knowledge of mathematics and geometry. After touring the mysterious pyramids, we will see the Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, representing the rising sun and rebirth for the pharaoh. After touring the “living statue” Sphinx, which has a temple between its paws, we will have our lunch. After lunch, we will visit the workshop of handmade papyrus paper obtained from Egypt’s famous papyrus plant. After the workshop visit, we will tour the Sakkara Pyramid, also known as the Step Pyramid, located in Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. After touring the Sakkara Pyramid, considered the first great stone monument in the world, we return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 06: CAIRO
After breakfast, we will tour Cairo’s old city center, one of the oldest civilizations with 7,000 years of history, the fortress newly built by Saladin against the Crusades, the Mosque of Ottoman governor Mohamed Ali Pasha, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. After having lunch at a local restaurant during our tour, we will go to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which opened magnificently on 01 November 2025. The museum offers a collection of 50,000 artifacts spanning from prehistoric times to the present day, and the personal belongings of Pharaoh Tutankhamun are also displayed in full.
