BARCELONA – MADRID
After breakfast and hotel check-out procedures, we begin our journey to Madrid. Upon arrival in Madrid, we arrange our city tour. Madrid, the capital of the Kingdom of Spain and also the third largest city in the European Union, is considered the country’s political, economic, and cultural center. During our city tour in Madrid, where statues, monuments, and natural beauties blend with modern architecture, Plaza Mayor, Paseyo de la Castellana, the bullring, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace, and Puerto de Alcala are among the places to be seen panoramically. After the city tour, following a short free time, transfer to our hotel in the Madrid region. Room allocation and free time to rest.
MADRİD – (Toledo Tour) – GRANADA – (Al Hambra Palace Tour) – (Sacromento & Gypsy Show)
After breakfast, we complete our hotel check-out procedures and depart for Granada. On the way, guests who wish may join our extra Toledo Tour program (55 Euro). Founded by Jews in 590 BC, Toledo, where people belonging to three major religions live together peacefully today, is one of Spain’s most important cities in historical and tourist terms and is also known as the “City of Knights.” The Tagus River, the largest river on the Iberian Peninsula, passes through the city. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. As one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and placed under protection. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. The Toledo Cathedral, which took approximately 270 years to build, was formerly a mosque and is today the world’s 3rd most important and Spain’s chief cathedral, containing some of the world’s most expensive works; San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascene work), and workshops and shops where gold craftsmanship is practiced are among the places to be seen panoramically on our city tour. After the Toledo tour, we continue our journey to Granada. Granada, established on fertile lands at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is one of Spain’s most touristic cities. Influenced mainly by the Romans and the Umayyads throughout its rich history and home to the Al Hambra Palace, our panoramic tour in the city’s historic Andalusian/Granada streets includes, among the remnants from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Grand Via, La Rambla, and City Square. Free time after the city tour. Guests who wish may join our extra Al Hambra Palace Tour program (65 Euro). We see the Al Hambra Palace, one of the most extraordinary memories not only of Andalusia but of all Islamic history, famous for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens, and included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. (It is conducted subject to palace availability. Entrance fee is included in the extra tour price and excludes the harem entrance.) After our visit to Al Hambra, transfer to the hotel. In Sacromonte, one of Granada’s oldest settlements on the opposite slope of Al Hambra, with its white houses and labyrinth-like, winding, steep, and stair-filled streets, where from every opening we can watch and photograph the red walls of Al Hambra Palace from afar, we watch the Gypsy Show. After the tour, we return to our hotel.

During the free time we will offer upon arrival in Sevilla, guests who wish may join our extra Seville Masterpieces Tour program (65 Euro). During our city tour, Plaza de Espana (Spain Square), where some scenes of Star Wars 2 were filmed; Torro del Oro (Golden Tower), a dodecagonal structure originally built for defense and later also used as a prison; Sevilla Cathedral, the 3rd largest Gothic cathedral in the world and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987; Giralda Bell Tower; and Maria Luisa Park are among the places seen panoramically.
