Living on Cruise Ships and Brief Information
Cruise ships can be likened to floating deluxe hotels equipped with the latest technology. You can follow the daily program of activities through the ship newspaper distributed to your cabin the evening before each day. This newspaper serves as a bulletin, providing all the information you will need for the day onboard, including activities on the ship, weather, port information, and contact information for special restaurants or spa reservations. The most commonly spoken language on the ship is English. If you are on a Turkish-guided program, our guide will assist you with everything from ship bulletins to restaurant menus, and prepare special bulletins for you, our valued guests.

Upon boarding the ship, you must submit your luggage, passport, and credit card information (a deposit will be charged for potential expenses) at the check-in desk located at the entrance of the ship. Your passport will be returned to you only at the end of the tour after being collected at the beginning of the trip. After handing over your passport to the ship, you will be given a Boarding Card. This card serves as your passport, your cabin key, and for all transactions you will make on the ship. The Boarding Card displays various information such as your full name, cabin number, and dining session.

There is a dress code for passengers onboard. Since there are special events like the captain's welcome dinner and gala night, we kindly ask that you bring elegant and classic clothing. You can monitor events like the gala night and welcome dinner through the ship newspaper mentioned earlier. The dress code will also be indicated in this bulletin.

On cruise ships, there are buffet restaurants where you can eat at any time of the day for 20 hours. In addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the main restaurant included in your fare, there are fast food points and open buffets available. The ship also has specialty concept restaurants. You can make reservations in advance to taste special dishes prepared by special chefs, such as Thai restaurants and Steak houses. Thematic restaurants incur additional charges.

Cruise ships offer numerous facilities and activities for families with children. There are children's pools and play clubs where kids can spend time.

Cruise ships are engineered to prevent swaying during travel, and the ship captains are specially trained. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, including your cabin. You may smoke on the open decks where no signs are posted prohibiting smoking and where ashtrays are available. There is a doctor and nurse onboard. There are also cabins for disabled guests.
