GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1- These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.

2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the Agency may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full tour price will be refunded to the guest. Regarding refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour; any domestic connecting flight purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest. If a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using the visa service and travel health insurance, these services cannot be refunded as they will have been used. If no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be cancelled and refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight from a different product provider independently of the Agency, the guest cannot request any refund from the Agency if the trip is cancelled by the Agency. The guest accepts in advance, upon purchasing the tour, any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour, and the Agency cannot be held responsible.

3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the Agency has the right, as a gesture of goodwill, not to cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the guiding service included in the package will cover only the round-trip airport transfer abroad.

Cancellation and Changes

4- For our tours, transportation tickets are issued at the time of reservation. In cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the cost of these flight tickets, which are non-refundable and do not allow cancellation or changes, will be charged as a penalty.

5- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty, provided that they notify the Agency in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding airline tickets paid and/or committed to be paid by the Agency to the airline company. If fewer than 31 days remain before the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the tour fee remaining after deducting the flight ticket cost; if 15 days or fewer remain before the trip start date, the guest may cancel by paying the entire tour fee as a penalty. If cancellation is requested, advance information must be obtained regarding refunds for additional services such as domestic connections, visa services and travel health insurance, as their cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the period in which cancellation is requested. The Agency cannot provide any commitment regarding cancellation refunds for additional services.

Guiding Services and Extra Tours

6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and archaeological sites at the destinations are open or closed and on weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide’s narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site admissions. The Agency is not responsible if panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visits to or entry into the relevant places on the corresponding day and time, because roads are closed due to any event, or when weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, in areas with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not permitted.

8- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours while adhering to the content of our tours, depending on the number of participants and whether museums and archaeological sites are closed. This also applies in the event of changes to flight times.

9- Points to be considered on our tours conducted by speedboats: heavy meals should not be eaten and large amounts of water should not be consumed immediately before boarding the boat. Guests with stomach, back or neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests, must inform their guides of their condition.

10- There is no refund if participation is not provided in the tour or meal services specified in the services included in the prices.

About Flights

11- The Agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger; in the event of possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, shall apply.

12- There may be delays or changes in flight times on scheduled and special flights. The Agency is obliged to notify guests of such changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip by accepting the risk of a change or cancellation of the flight time.

13- Children between 0 and 2 years of age pay only the airport tax.

14- In accordance with airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip airline tickets is not used, the return flight is cancelled by the airline.

15- Check-in and boarding procedures required for persons participating in tours with flights are personal procedures, and guests are required to complete these procedures before the flight at the airports, at the relevant airline counters, or online through the airline companies’ websites.

16- Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur during flights are announced over the airport public address system and displayed on the information boards in the airport. These details must be personally monitored by the guests.

17- The Agency is not responsible if guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the aircraft are unable to take the flight. All expenses incurred for obtaining the new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination region, etc., required for guests who miss the flight to join the tour, shall be borne by the guests themselves.

18- For most flights departing from Türkiye, the general baggage allowance is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight and pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency.

19- For our guests who wish to upgrade their airline tickets using miles (to business or first class); after the tickets have been issued, the upgrade may be carried out subject to the availability of the airline (please check the airline with which you hold membership). Miles are not guaranteed for every flight. Please check whether the program’s tickets belong to an upgradeable class.

20- On some airlines, food and beverage and online check-in services may be subject to an additional fee.

Other Matters

21- The Agency will not accept responsibility for any change or cancellation made by the guest by contacting the hotel directly. In such a case, the Agency’s cancellation conditions shall apply.

22- In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying the hotel name(s) and/or options are offered for the same destination, the Agency will notify the guest 48 hours before the trip departure.

23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the locations or kilometer distances specified. In such a case, the Agency will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.

24- When registering for the purchased tour, the guest must correctly enter/provide in the system the name appearing in the passport, date of birth and passport number. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to airline tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

25- To use your mobile phones abroad, check with the company to which your line belongs before leaving Türkiye to ensure that your phone is enabled for international use.

26- For accommodation, hotel check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00.

27- The Agency communicates requests concerning the room (high floor, proximity to general areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. Efforts are made to ensure that the reserved rooms match the guest’s preferences, subject to hotel availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at the time of hotel check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency.

28- The breakfast served at hotels differs from the rich breakfast traditionally familiar in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.

29- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of a twin-bed room. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be joined when necessary.

30- Each hotel’s child and extra-bed policy may vary according to room types.

31- All extra beds and baby cots are provided upon request and subject to hotel availability, and must be approved by the hotel.

32- The capacity for an extra bed or baby cot in the room is a maximum of 1.

33- Extra-bed arrangements are available in triple rooms; in these rooms, the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of beds referred to as folding beds and coach beds. Our guests shall be deemed to have declared that they accept the possible crowding in rooms and the bed type resulting from the extra beds added to standard rooms in their triple-room and/or reservations with children.

34- If the number of children staying with adults and the children’s ages specified in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may collect an additional fee. In such a case, responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to determine the children’s ages.

35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may be no separate bed for the child. Child prices are valid only when the child stays with two adults. Child discounts apply to “one child” belonging to the relevant age group staying with two adults.

36- Changes in exchange rates during the day are reflected in TL prices. The exchange rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests and certain additional services you receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to an extra charge by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

37- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism or local taxes. All such city, tourism or other taxes applied in this manner are collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or departure.

38- Road distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the destination country, roadworks and road conditions.

39- The Agency may change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be used, without altering the content of the program, when necessary or deemed appropriate.

40- Personal belongings, bags, suitcases and passports/identification documents of persons participating in the tour are their own responsibility, and the Agency is not responsible for forgotten, lost or stolen items. Any expenses incurred in delivering forgotten items to the country and/or the person, if found, shall be borne by the owner of the item.

41- Persons participating in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and, if they have any health problems, the relevant medications and medical reports with them.

42- Upon check-in at the hotel, the hotel may request a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit for possible extra expenses. The refund of the deposit requested at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency has no involvement in it.

Visa and Passport

1- Our guests’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip.

2- At customs crossings/border gates, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages so that entry and exit stamps can be affixed.

3- Being exempt from a visa or having obtained a visa for entry into the countries on this tour does not mean that entry into or exit from the country is guaranteed. Passport control officers have the authority to deny you entry to or exit from the country. The Agency is not responsible for this; responsibility lies with the passenger.

4- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using the passport of the other country must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applied by the country to be visited to the passport they will use; otherwise, the Agency will not be responsible for any resulting consequences.

5- Passports that are torn, worn, wet and/or have suffered similar damage must be renewed in order to avoid problems with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited. Otherwise, responsibility lies with the passenger.

6- As officers at country entry and exit points may request a document showing the joint consent of the parents when guests under the age of 18 travel alone or with only one of their mother or father, we recommend that guests under 18 and their parents take particular care regarding this matter.
