ISTANBUL – LONDON – (London Evening Tour) After completing baggage drop, check-in and passport control procedures at Istanbul Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before our flight, we fly to London at 13:15 with Turkish Airlines’ direct and scheduled flight TK198. Upon arrival at London Heathrow Airport at 15:10 local time, we are transferred to our hotel by our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. After arriving at our hotel in the London area, we are free to check into our rooms and rest. In the evening, guests who wish may join our optional London Evening Tour (45 GBP). On this tour, we explore some of London’s most iconic landmarks and main streets that reflect the city’s nightlife, one of the world’s most important metropolises, known for its vibrant atmosphere at all hours of the day, and then return to our hotel. LONDON – (Warner Bros and Harry Potter Studios Tour) – (London Icons and Thames River Cruise Tour) After breakfast, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join our optional Warner Bros and Harry Potter Studios Tour (125 Euro). On this tour, we visit Warner Bros. Studios, where the Harry Potter film series was filmed. In this unique experience, where film sets, costumes and behind-the-scenes details are displayed, we have the chance to closely discover the magic world behind the scenes. During our visit, we see iconic set areas remembered from the films such as the Great Hall, Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express. We also learn about how the special effects were created, how the sets were designed and details about the film production process. During our tour, we have the opportunity to examine original costumes, accessories and set designs exhibited at the studio, experiencing the visual world of the Harry Potter universe more closely. After the free time given, we complete our tour. For the rest of the day, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join our optional London Icons and Thames River Cruise Tour (145 GBP). On our tour, we first arrive in Greenwich, one of London’s most characteristic areas. In this tour, where we see the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park and the point through which the prime meridian passes, we also view the area’s historical structures, parkland and views of the River Thames panoramically. Next, we proceed for our Thames River cruise. During this enjoyable journey from Greenwich to Westminster, we have the chance to see London’s landmark structures such as Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe and The Shard from the river. After arriving in the Westminster area, we begin our walking tour. Following the walk around Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, we continue via Parliament Square toward Downing Street. In this city, which has been the center of academic life for centuries, we tour the city center among university colleges, historic courtyards and libraries. During our city tour, landmarks such as Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library and university buildings are among the places we see panoramically. College buildings that inspired the Harry Potter film series and in which some scenes were filmed are also among the notable points during our tour. After a short walk through the historic streets and free time for photos, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Cambridge. Founded in the 13th century, the city is one of the important centers in world academic history with the University of Cambridge, its historic colleges, orderly street layout and peaceful atmosphere. During our Cambridge city tour, we see King’s College Chapel, one of the most impressive examples of Gothic architecture, panoramically. On our city tour, York Minster Cathedral, the historic city center and the walls are among the places seen panoramically. After a photo stop and free time for a walk, we head to Glasgow. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Edinburgh Tour (80 GBP). As the capital of Scotland, the city stands out with its unique identity combining historical and modern structures. In the continuation of our tour, which we begin by following the Royal Mile in the Old Town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Edinburgh Castle, situated overlooking the city, will be seen panoramically. During our city tour in Glasgow, George Square, considered the heart of the city, Glasgow Cathedral, university buildings notable for their historic character and the city silhouette along the River Clyde are among the places seen panoramically. Continuing through the city’s modern face and shopping areas, we observe Glasgow’s development from past to present. After a short photo stop and free time, we complete our Glasgow city tour and head to Liverpool. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Windermere Lake and Boat Tour (65 GBP). On this tour, we reach the Lake District National Park, one of England’s most impressive natural beauties. Surrounded by hills, valleys and lakes in every shade of green, this unique landscape stands out as one of the country’s most important natural areas. During our boat tour on Windermere, the largest lake in the region, we have the opportunity to discover the surrounding natural scenery from different angles. As we move across the lake, we can closely experience the peaceful atmosphere of the area, which is soothing and immersed in nature. After the boat tour, following a short free time, we complete our tour and continue to Liverpool. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Liverpool area, we are free to check into our rooms. After this free time, we set out to organize our Liverpool panoramic city tour and surroundings. Chester, one of the best-preserved historic cities in England, stands out and attracts attention with its Roman-era past, medieval architectural structures and unique city plan. During our city tour in Chester, landmarks such as Eastgate Clock and the Chester Rows, two-story historic shopping arcades with their distinctive architecture, are among the main places seen panoramically. Continuing through narrow streets to get to know the city’s characteristic texture more closely, we also see the historic walls surrounding the city and Chester Cathedral. After our panoramic tour, following a short free time, we visit Cheshire Designer Outlet, one of England’s largest outlet centers. After our panoramic tour through Canal Street and the Northern Quarter, we complete our tour and continue to Manchester Airport.
